Sweet Pandora

I am seeking an Alfred Angelo Bridesmaid dress. Per the Alfred Angelo website, Sweet Pandora would have it at their location. This is a total shame to the Alfred Angelo name. I have been trying to reach the employees of this store for days now to get a bridesmaid dress. I have left messages with no return call. I thought to myself, that they were busy and this is why they haven’t answered the phone. As per the voice mail the store is open every day 10−6pm. I decided to just go to the location and see if they have the dress. I went on a Saturday. First let me just say that the place looks like an apartment building. There were 3 different door bells. One had a phone number associated to sweet Pandora. This isn’t the number to the actual business. I thought this was shady but took a chance anyway. I rang the door bell and waited several minutes for a response. I rang again, no response. I now call the number and it goes to a voice mail of a mobile number that is full. From this experience, its safe to say that this isn’t an actual business. Buyer beware.

JP Bridal has merged with this store. DO NOT COME HERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This place is terrible! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Waste of time and terrible customer service. And they don’t know how to do alterations.
I came here with 4 other girls in order to purchase our bridesmaid dresses to JP Bridal. They almost ordered us the WRONG dress! One of the bridesmaid caught their error.
They were TERRIBLE at pining and taking notes on what alternations needed to be done!!!
They really screwed us over this weekend. We made an appointment with them last weekend for this last weekend because they MESSED up on the alterations AGAIN. There was fabric that needed to be pinned down in front of my dress, instead they took the bust in. The dress was so tight. And their solution was I wear the dress without a bra.
They PROMISED that the seamstress would come in just for us, in case the dresses need to be fixed again. We came all the way to the city from queens only to discover the store was CLOSED!!! Where were our appointments? I knocked on the window and a man opened the door asking us what we were doing there. Long story short… we had to wait 50 minutes to find out where our dresses were in the warehouse or in the new location. NEW LOCATION???
THEY MERGED WITH SWEET PANDORA. SAME PEOPLE, DIFFERENT LOCATIONS!
A location that we weren’t even informed about!!! We had to go to Queens to get our dresses. They didn’t even bother to call us to tell us that our dresses were in queens! And we live 10 minutes from the queens store. I spoke with the woman on the phone, she apologized BUT she kept giggling. This was my third fitting!
I asked is the seamstress in today and the woman said no she has the day off. SHE PROMISED US THAT SHE WOULD BE, IN CASE ALTERATIONS NEEDED TO BE DONE!
She asked if we were coming to queens, like we had a choice the wedding is less than 1 week and they can’t even alter our dresses correctly. We went to the queens location and the moment we enter, they start speaking Chinese. You don’t need to speak Chinese to figure out she was talking about us and saying these are the girls. I RESPONDED WITH EXACTLY.
The dresses weren’t fixed correctly. We just took them and left and went somewhere else to get them altered.
PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I was a little bit nervous about ordering from Sweet Pandora because it sounded too good to be true (low prices, no upcharge for plus size, they’ll ship right to you, etc.) so I decided to go into the store to order my dress. It was a little hard to find, but the service was excellent and I was able to get measured and order my dress within about 20 minutes total!
Tina’s checkout process is super easy and convenient (I love emailed receipts) and she was very nice. She let me look at the color swatches, the dress photo and the calendar to make sure that I would get my dress exactly the way I wanted it, and when I needed it. My dress arrived at my house about seven weeks later in great condition. This shop is great for women who want fast, quality service and don’t have the time (or energy) to deal with one of those boutiques where they make you wait forever and try to sell you five million things. Highly recommended!

I recently discovered this place when I was looking for an Alfred Angelo retailer. Through the Alfred Angelo website I found this place since I live in Queens and there is no signature stores in the NYC area. Tina, the main sales representative is great at assisting with your gown and accessory search in addition to organization and timeliness. I am a fan and although this company has not been around for long I will make sure to recommend them… They also have a youtube page that features some of their gowns and their website is very friendly to on the go brides… Its also intimate in that it is small enough for just you and/​or your bridesmaids… Basically their showroom is one bride at a time…
