My friend and I happened upon this place after driving from LA to NYC. We needed a cocktail badly and this was the perfect spot! This bar had great live jazz music and a super cool see-through stage above our heads. The bartenders were very friendly and took a lot of pride in making their specialty drinks. Both bathrooms had gender neutral signs on them. We liked the feeling inclusivity. We’ll definitely be going back!

It’s the best to go spot to have a drink in Jackson Heights. If you’re into jazz music stay for the live band, otherwise grab a drink, enjoy the music, nice staff, mixed public. it’s a shame that it will close at the end of the year. This neighborhood needs a place like this.

REALLY liked the ambiance and décor. Especially the skeletons and Dia de Los Muertos kitsch. However, the drinks left me wanting more… mixes and simple syrup in their ‘Ritas. When we asked for fresh lime juice, etc… they said«only mixes»… At spots like this one, I’m all about the traditional, clean, unadulterated ‘Rita. I had a good time with my colleagues, but don’t plan to return unless there is some sort of amazing music or event.

Love this place ! Delicious drinks, warm atmosphere, everyone is super polite. Clean & fun! They play live music Thursday-Sunday. Every day is different however like Sunday’s they play jazz. Cozy little crack in the wall but definitely worth the time spent.

Solid place. Great music and pretty good drinks as well. You have to pay to be upstairs but at least there is a guy that serves you drinks

My first time at Terraza 7 and I had a blast obviously I went with Family so its always a great time!!! My brother has gone their before so he suggested to go! I tried the COCONUTMOJITO and I loved it! So if any one goes there the Coconut Mojito is a must! You taste the coconut milk with a splash of liquor and mint. Its not to strong not to soft… Its just perfect! The ambiance is pretty loud because of the live band who are callled Chota Madre which their excellent! Very cozy and dark place to be I’ll definitely go back again!

Came here to meet some friends for a drink after work. It’ just off Roosevelt tucked away in an unassuming building. It’s very small upon walking in, but very cool, if not hip. It has a latin american décor with all sorts of art and chachkis which give it an interesting vibe. Truth be told it was 5pm and it was fairly quiet, but the bar was full. Great and different drink selection at typical NYC prices for the most part. It looks like they have live music based on the catwalk around the ceiling of the place which would be cool to check out. Would love to get here when it’s in full swing.

Queens needs more live music venues like this! Fingers crossed. Focus is on world music with focus on Latin usually. Cover varies from $ 0 – 15. Last time I was here was a few years back when I lived in the neighborhood. Came after dinner to check a Cuban band out. Less grungy then I remember. This time around bright red walls with loads of cool Mexican décor. Unique and hip. Crowd very diverse– age ethnicities etc Tiny space but they have utilized every inch to max. If you stay on bottom floor you don’t have to pay the cover but fairly cramped. Nice selection of strong well made and generously sized drinks though price point $ 10 plus pricey for Queens. Bands are usually fairly big and pretty good. Only complaint is dancing is not allowed. If in the area checkout and if you are looking for a cool space to grab a drink and listen to world beats head here.

Terraza 7 is a very nice place, they usually have good bands but unfortunately the Bartender Paola doesn’t know how to treat the customers, she is extremely rude.

Really glad I found this place through Unilocal.Such a great place in Jackson Heights to hang out, enjoy great music, and have drinks. Love the playlist they put on after the live band left. Only wish I had found this place earlier. The bartender was really cool and offered me other options when he ran out of an ingredient that he needed for a drink I had ordered. The drink he gave me ended up being delicious. Definitely going to return.

Came here after the Lauryn Hill Concert in Flushing Meadows Park. It had such a cool, chill sexy, energy that reminded me of a warm Havana night on the Malecon. The jazz with those Latin vibes dripped through the metal floors upstairs onto us downstairs folk like some sort of delightful haze. Everyone there is social and friendly. The outside looks like a historic ruin somewhere in Central America and inside you’ll find yourself dancing all over the triangular room. I don’t get to get out to Jackson Heights much but if I do this place is a must.

Thank you Unilocal for taking me here. I was on my way to Las Margaritas when I decided to look on Unilocal and see if I can try something new. BANG! I saw Terraza. My boyfriend and I decided to detour and head here. Aren’t we glad we did. As I walked out of my car and made our way over, we can here the wonderful sounds of jazz all the way down the block. I walked in and I felt as if I were somewhere in the Village. I definitely didn’t feel I was in Jackson Heights anymore. I grabbed a «Coconut mojito» it was so good, and headed upstairs. They have a cover charge of $ 7 if you sit upstairs but it is and was Totally worth it. My BF was so excited since he is into music and his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. The wonderful sounds I heard were from Benito Gonzalez who is a an amazing pianist and his Bass and drum players were just out of this world. They won’t be returning till June :/You can feel The passion that poured out of their bodies. Very cool spot and I definitely will be returning.

Great local spot for drinks and live music. I have gone here with friends many times and had great times all around. Liquor selection is good and the drinks are pretty strong for what you pay for. I can’t say a bad thing about this place… And the stage is amazing … I love the idea of it being upstairs and everything up there is cozy as hell.

This place is a GEM!, especially for its location. Here you will find a great staff, hipster yet cultural ambience, amazingly awesome music performances and great tasting drinks. Hungry? Go down to Roosevelt and grab some delicious tacos, eat them inside the bar, the staff is totally cool with it. I love this«Gem» in Queens, I fear its rising popularity will cause it to lame out like the gentrifying neighborhoods that are creeping up on it. Terraza 7 is an escape to a chiller, more fun loving New York. Sunday night jams are a blast if you’re into Jazz, good vibes and musicianship in general. The $ 7 bucks to watch upstairs are worth it, especially if you’re on a date. As a beer lover, I’ll never forget how this place introduced me to Single-Cut lagers and IPA’s. A favorite for me today. As a music lover, I’ll never forget the nights of auditory ecstasy, of the dancing, laughing and sweating to the drums and rhythms of traditional Central and South American music, the buzzing I get in my cheeks when a pianist hits a sweet chord change or when a saxophonist finds the right note to make it sound like hot coco in your ears. I love this place and yet I fear that reviews such as this one will eventually ruin it by driving the lame NYU party types to its premises. Only time will tell. For now… Terraza 7 is a gem surrounded by pebbles. It’s an escape for those who need the buzz, the vibe and ecstasy.

Came here one evening for a drink with a friend. Ended up enjoying a latin jazz orchestra performance on the upper mezzanine. Seven dollar cover charge soooo worth it. The drinks are great and service is smooth. Atmosphere cool calm and collective. Thumbs up!

I come here to creep on da cute boys… I took my Spaniard friends here last night and they said that the peach sangria was the best sangria they’ve had in N.Y. Make sure to come before 7 p. m to catch the $ 5 sangria for happy hour. There is almost always a live band playing at the bar and the bands are always very talented. I like that this bar is very local and there are always many regulars that come. The décor is different and interesting and the service is always great. Mary is the best! Yay for Terraza 7!

I have been living in this Neighborhood for over 20 years and finally found a AWESOMESPOT where they play Live music, cozy bar, and Awesome drinks! Super small hole in the wall Lounge, literally 500 square feet(I am guessing) with 2 floors. Small bar with lots of selection(Beer, Alcoholic beverage). I kept ordering the Peach Sangria($ 8.00) and it was tasty and a bit of sweet in it. Live music varies every night, but you can check it out online and see who is playing before you head there. It wasn’t packed on a Thursday night(10 pm).
