Awesome food! Real roast chicken in the chicken lo mein, delicious egg rolls and fried rice. Fast and friendly service! Can’t wait to have this again and again!

Good ambience yet average food. Ordered roast pork lo mien, dumplings with hot sesame sauce and shrimp, scallops broccoli. With hot and sour soup. You would like if you have a salty taste bud. Definitely for improvement.

Pretty decent Chinese food with good prices and service.
The best thing about this place is the vintage interior. So many sit down Chinese places have gone out of business over the years. They all seem to be takeout nowadays. But this place still has the very red and a bit dark (and wonderful) «Chinese style» interior and is a nice spot for dinner.

the best Asian food you’ll find from here to Ithaca, top-​notch dishes and prices. Super awkward dining experience when eating in though, the waiter bowed to me very slowly; But then again it’s most likely their custom.

Other reviews consistently say this is the best Chinese food in the area. I can’t speak to the area, but I didn’t think the food at this restaurant was very good.
We got a bean curd dish and Buddha’s delight. The bean curd was falling apart, but tasted ok. The Buddha’s delight included some very un-​tasty seitan bits, and was very salty and unpleasant. Maybe the meat dishes are better?
The tea was tasty and a nice touch. The waitress was nice enough.

We moved away from Elmira last year and we have consistent B.G. withdraws!!!
Mr Dennis is an amazing owner and the food is consistently exquisite! Everything from egg rolls/​rice/​egg drop soup… just incredible!!!
If you are looking for an amazing meal for not a lot of money you cannot go wrong with this restaurant!!!

The only seated Chinese restaurant in the area. Always consistent, and good service. The taste might be catered toward more for American clients, and not completely authentic Chinese, however compared to many of take out places in the area, this place is by far better than the others. If I am in town I never miss dinning here, and see Denis the owner.

Always good! I like eat in better than take out though, you get crispy noodles and tea, with your meal. Very pleasant wait staff and excellent service. Good prices and I love love love their hot and sour soup!

We stopped by late in the afternoon. Greeted and seated promptly by very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Hot tea and crispy fried noodles served right away.
Low mein, shrimp with cashews and chicken with almonds were delicious. Nice light sauce and tasty vegetables.
We’ll be back!

Came in for dinner with a group of 8 before a show. What a great Chinese restaurant. The menu is diverse and the food was cooked well. If you are going to a show you should make this your pre show meal.
