So the third time is the charm. The last 2 times I went there were shall we say communication issues? Didnt realize I wanted a color, didnt realize I was still waiting, didnt realize I hadnt been signed in, cant have the colorist I was waiting for etc etc I call to see if I can be added to a waiting list and I am told that would be an appointment, which they do not do. So I go there and sign in and I am told its a 30 min wait. 45 minutes later I am still waiting when another woman walks in. She says she called and made an appt for highlights and has a seat. 15 minutes later the manager calls her over to start, immediately offering a BS excuse that this girl did not have an appt, that she called and was added to the waiting list. Ummm yeah you told me you couldnt do that??? So I am looking at waiting for another color to be done after waiting almost an hour already. No thanks. All I wanted was a simple root touch up, I never even have them style it to save them time and I tip roughly the same amount as the coloring charge is, so roughly a 40−50% tip. Yup my fault for going back, wont make that mistake again. Plenty of salons around here that are willing to treat me better and appreciate my business.

My family and I all go to this salon. We’re all split between Torie and the younger black girl. Recently the young girl left and no one will tell us how to get ahold of her even though she told us whenever she stops working there that we could still have her do our hair. I think the salon is trying to keep clients to the salon and trying to help themselves other than help the clients. We also have witnessed a few time a blonde girl who I believe to be the manager talking rudely to the other stylists. She has even given people who walk in an attitude. Which is why I don’t dare go to her. I do not like her at all!!! Torie and the young black girl are very nice very happy girls. So we will stick to Torie, but the rest of us will be going to a new salon or trying to find the other lady.

Definitely NOT the place to get a cut, I have also been an unfortunate victim of their«stylists». Maybe the place has crooked floors, or all of employees have one leg sorter than the other because it seems to be impossible for them to cut hair evenly. In addition they DONOT listen to you and do whatever they please. I have a simple angled bob style, I have explained painstakingly what I want, showed previous photos of myself and still they mess it up, if you can’t do the cut just SAYSO! I still go there for my color as it is a great price($ 25 mon-thurs). But I will not let them touch my hair with scissors. You also have to be careful who you get to do your color, there are a few girls(the red head) who do not get the roots. I didn’t complain, after all it is $ 25 but choose not to use her again.

Overcharged for a bleach service and charged for a conditioning treatment I never received. After the second round of bleaching because she missed several spots the first time she left bleach in my hair and ears even after rinsing. Completely ruined the shirt I had on by letting bleach run all the way down my back to my waist. When I called and asked for any kind of refund the manager lied and said she would call me back… when I called back two hours later I was told that I could not even have a partial refund and that it’s just something that happens and they can’t help that sometimes they completely ruin shirts. Was also told that I needed to accept I «look ten times better now than you did when you came in» and that what I was wearing«was just a t-shirt anyway, wasn’t it?» I have had good service here before but apparently the lady who did my hair previously has now left the business and after my treatment by the manager I will not be returning; I’m pretty sure I can find someone to mangle my hair, insult my clothing and appearance for free if I’m really desperate for that sort of thing.
