It was Father’s Day evening, and we entered yesterday in a good mood. That was destroyed immediately by a young hostess(our waitress said her name was«Brianna») who could not even look at us and was downright surly with a constant frown. My friend tried some levity but was met with a disgruntled sarcasm. Our waitress later said that«Brianna» was having a difficult time that day with a personal problem. If that’s the case, one should go home instead of passing her problem onto a visiting group. There’s no excuse for that! We are used to the exact opposite from any restaurant host in this area. This young woman should not be dealing directly with customers!

Our Tuesday lunch group chose TGI Fridays this week. I’ve been there twice in past years, both times vowing never to return. But, I went along because I’m a team player. 3 – 4 of us ordered tomato basil soup. Have had it at numerous other restaurants and loved it, despite variations(yes, a soup with the same name can have variations in taste, texture and presentation depending on where you go). Was not pleased with TGIF’s soup. Too thick, uninteresting taste, and judging from the crusty look around the edges of everyone’s soup, they nuked it – too long – yet it wasn’t really hot. I had a lunch special – ½ turkey & swiss sandwich, with tiny pile of fries. Grateful there wasn’t more fries cause I didn’t really want them and didn’t know they came with the meal. They looked kind of lost on the plate and were barely warm and were chewy. Sandwich was okay, absolutely nothing to get excited about. No garnishing on the plate or the soup. Reasonable price for the food, I have to admit. I’d be willing to pay more for more quality. On the positive side, we had a friendly, caring waitress – I think her name was Henrietta(hope I got that right). She took good care of us.

Chicken n shrimp is always good. Idk why I torture myself and hope the potato skins go back to what they were years ago, you know, actual skins!!! Still too much potato. Still skimpy on cheese. Last time they had an orange-ish color or spice I should say which helped, this time none. Very bland. Waitress said new cook must’ve forgot it?! Umm ok!?! Husband ordered petite sirloin med well. Came out very well and chewy. Ribs were good he said and parm steak fries were good. But holy hell, $ 3 for a fountain drink!!! Server was good.

Black Friday and under staffed. Waited 45 mins for food. After it came out wife’s potato skins were burnt beyond recognition. They gave us new ones ten minutes later.

Pretty standard, however that is why we come to chain places right? Stopped for a quick dinner. Started with the side salad. Was good and fresh. For main coarse had the salmon with lobster sauce, fresh spinach and jasmine rice pilaf. All were pretty good. Staff were friendly and quick also attentive.

tgi Fridays is a once and a while restaurant their food is pretty good especially their ribs and the people are nice and friendly but even when there is only 3 or 4 people the wait can be very long but over all it is my favorite restaurant around.

I can say great just about everything in this restaurant, starting from very courteous and personal approach to the great tasting freshly made food with very low and hardly beatable prices and specials for franchised restaurants. Among all franchised restaurants I think Friday’s is the best in U.S.

The service here is really subpar. Our server got in a fight with a hostess in front of us and then made excuses all night for how bad our food was, then charged us extra on our tab! Thankfully management was kind enough to straighten out the situation. We were just passing through, but still, this service was unacceptable.

First I will say they just redid the décor and updated the outside of the restaurant and it looks really nice. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms. Food We had a couple of appetizers the pot stickers and the fried green beans. Both were good nothing amazing but not bad at all I ordered the jack daniels ribs and chicken for 18 bucks which came with two sides. The ribs were small but better than most chain places. I am a big fan of the Jack Daniels menu in general the sauces are very good. All in all if you are going to a chain this is one of the better steak houses in my opinion.

My huband and I went there he got the ribs, I got the sizzling chicken platter. After 15 mins my husbands food was brought to him, as I sit waiting for my food trying to get the waiters attention 15 mins went by. The waiter came over and asked how our food was?!? I said mine would be great if I had received it iam sure. the waiter leaves to the kitchen then comes back telling me he can have my chicken ready in 5 mins, yeah no thanks. My husband was almost done eating so I told him to just forget about it. Then the manager came over trying to talk me into taking it to go, I just said no iam fine thank you. Then she came over again 5 minutes later to give me a coupon for a free appetizer, and again talk me into taking the meal to go. I told her again no thank you, she got an attitude said well i can give it to you for free rolling her eyes. Every 5 minutes from there on it was either her or the waiter coming over. I even had to explain to them why iam not taking a sizzling chicken dish to go! My husband and I were having an important discussion which wasn’t getting to far and the whole reason we went out was to have a quiet discussion without distraction. I said no thank you probably a dozen times. The waiter brings me the bill I give him the coupon for the free appetizer and he doesn’t even take it off the bill!!! The service was very horrible, however my husband enjoyed his ribs.

We’ve had some pretty good luck with this Friday’s. There’s rarely a wait and the food comes out quickly. We’ve had the same waitress the couple of times that we’ve been there and she is EXCELLENT.
