I wish this place wasn’t so far but my best friend and I travel from Brooklyn just for their food. The rice and the sauce tha comes with it is just Delish! The chicken is always juicy. I would get shrimp fried rice or chicken fried rice, side of plantains. I never had any issues with the food. Haven’t been back in a while, maybe about a yr but we shall(bestie and I) soon!

Amazing food, fast service, kind staff. Their chicken combo is amazing. As well as the lomo platter. Wish I could eat it everyday. Amazing rice.

This has been our go to for ordering out rotisserie chicken for our family events! We always get a bunch and the green sauce is great! Haven’t dined in but for take out its worth a try.

This place has yummy food. It’s a nice spot for good food. We always order to go so I don’t know what the dine in experience is like. I would definitely recommend calling ahead the order Bc you’ll be waiting a while for food. The steak is hands down the best thing on the menu. There’s also a green sauce that they give you. It is so good!!! Good luck parking on Hempstead turnpike :(Def worth trying!

My family and I order take out frequently. Love the chicken combo with salad and fries. The green sauce is amazing and I could eat it on everything. Last night I was totally disappointed in the burnt plantains. If I was eating in the restaurant I would have sent them back.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken with rice and beans. It was delicious! We clearly had ordered way too much food but the service was quick and our waitress was nice. It’s a small space so there may be people standing right by your table while waiting for their order, but it didn’t bother us much. We will definitely be coming back!

Millenium Chicken is my go-to Peruvian chicken place. We have always picked up food to go home and never stayed to eat in so cannot comment on service/dining room. Millenium is located in an industrial part of Elmont, right across the street from Home Depot. The area can be a little sketchy but I’ve seen many people come in to eat so I don’t think it’s a huge problem. We always order on the phone and pick up 20 – 30 minutes later. We have never had an issue with our order being wrong and I always ask for extra green sauce, which they happily oblige and never charge me for. They have combos which I think are pretty good in value. We usually order a combo with a whole chicken and rice and beans. I will then throw in two side orders of tostones, which comes with a creamy garlic sauce. Their green sauce is also creamier than others and I LOVEEEE it. It goes SO well with the chicken. In fact, I can’t stop thinking about it now. Our family of 3 can eat two large meals with one of these orders. We have yet to try the other items but hope to in the future.

Doesnt disappoint! If you sit and eat they give you these toasted corn nuts to munch on. The food is always delicious and the flavor is consistant

Great food with«pio pio style» green sauce. Yummy chicken fried rice or rotisserie chicken. Only negative thing is the awful service… they barely pay attention to you, take a long time to fill your take out order, the girls are too busy socializing to pay attention to customers if you are not a muscle man, and definitely not service with a smile. All that bad service leaves a bad taste in the mouth but since it’s the only decent Spanish food in the area I’m forced to go back for the good food. :/

This place is somewhat underrated. Granted anyone familiar with the restaurant knows that it was far better when there was only a single location. With that said for the money the chicken simply can’t be beat. Almost always fresh, crispy skin and moist meat. A well crafted preparation brine process that has been refined over 50 years according to the local lore. But the key to enjoyment is in the salsa picante verde. It’s he crown jewel of this place and goes well with just about anything on the menu. I am a big fan of there version of Jalea. It’s an especially generous family potion of mariscos deep fried with a light batter and topped with marinated red onions and tomatoes salsa with line juice and spices. Enjoy

I Had something simple; quarter chicken with yellow rice n beans, was delicioso! It also comes with yummy green sauce n corn nuts. Let me say, the chicken was tender and flavorful, not the usual«bland» you would expect.

Good food but horrible, horrible service!!! We normally call in an order and we hubby goes to pick it up. Not once was our order ever right and it was always the same lady who takes our order. The last time we ordered was our very worst experience. 1. It was 9:20 and I place my order for pick up. I ordered 4 quarter chicken(dark meat only) an order of rice, fried yuca and sweet plantains. My bf calls me back to tell me to add 2 more quarter chickens to the order. I called not even 5 minutes later and spoke to the lady on the phone. I said«hi, I just placed a pick up order for 4 quarter chicken, rice, yuca and plantains. I want to add 2 more quarter chicken to that order. There should be 6 quarter chickens in total. Got it?» She responds with yes, yes, got it. 2. My bf picks up the order and when he arrived home there was only 4 quarter chickens in the bag… not 6. 3. I called back at 9:50 and no one answers. This place closes at 10 so someone should have answered. I call back 2 more times and the woman who took my order finally picked up. I explained to her that there was only 4 chickens in the bag. She told me they were closing. I said«well, you don’t close until 10. We live 5 minutes away. Can we drive there now to pick it up? She tells me yes but to give them a few minutes to make it. I told my bf to drive there as soon as I got off the phone. My bf has the need for speed so I know he got there fast. 4. My bf arrives there… the lights were off and the workers were leaving the restaurant. Now my bf is very big and muscular and can look intimidating. He quickly got out his car, made the workers go back in and flip the lights back on. He doesn’t like when people play him for a fool. 5. Once back in the restaurant he asks«where is my food?! The lady told me to come pick it up so why are you guys closing and leaving??» The guys that were there had no idea what he was talking about so he tells them to get that woman on the phone(the lady already left). She gives him the run around and he’s asking her why did she tell him to drive there and pick it up when she knew damn well they were closing. 6. The workers there also cursed at my bf in Spanish but he understands so he cursed back in spanish to let them know not to talk any crap. Long story short, we got the chicken. Moral of the story, don’t tell your customers to come pick up the food when you know damn well you plan on leaving. If my bf came even a minute later than when he got there the place would have been completely closed already. It was her mistake and she tried to play us for a fool! Horrible service but I still gave it 2 stars cause the food is still good.

The rotisserie chicken is good but the white meat was a little dry. Over all they have good local Peruvian food.

The food is blah. The chicken barely has flavor, the amount of cheese in the huencaina sauce over powers the rest of the flavors, BUTCAN I GIVE5STARSTOTHEGREENSAUCE?! The green sauce is amazing. I used to order other plates of food… but now i just order the chicken in the rice and beans. Even though the flavor of the plate itself is not too good, I drown my food in sauce and it makes it all better… AMAZING to be exact. I WILL always continue to go for that sauce. Did i mention the salad dressing is good to? :)

I guess it makes due for good Peruvian chicken since we’re not in Jackson Heights/Corona. The service isn’t very fast but the food is good, not great. But good– if you don’t want to drive to queens. The food is good and their garlic sauce is great with the chicken or fries

Service: The few times I’ve eaten here the waitress and lady behind the counter are very rude with nasty attitudes! I only take out now and the lady behind the counter is still rude! Food: the chicken is good! The fries are always soggy. And they are cheap with the dressing and aji. I always have to buy some extra because it’s never enough. The tallarines verdes are completely watered down and the chica is not that good either! Price: it’s okay. It used to be cheaper but the the price has gone up a few dollars.

I’m actually surprised that I was disappointed in the lack if flavor with chicken and rice beans. Very typical mediocre had better at Chicken Palace on hillside ave and it’s cheaper than this place! $ 10.35 for a quarter chicken including sides at lunch?!! I def think it’s a bit much for this spot! Won’t spend my dollar here! Btw green sauce is not spicy it’s more like a green mayo

Delicious rotisserie chicken. I haven’t tried any of the entrees yet but I have had the chicken over and over again. Tasty and juicy! My boyfriend and I order from here often. Usually get some variety of rice and beans, tostones, and fried yucca. All of it is full of flavor and the prices are right.

probably one of the juiciest roasted chickens i’ve had in a long time — and at their prices, you really can’t go wrong! Too bad they don’t have locations in the city or in brooklyn… otherwise this would be my go-to-spot for quick delicious dinners!
