This place has inflated prices on frames compared to many other franchise places. They attempt to add unnessary lens upgrades that are not required and claim that the prescription mandates it. Staff was not friendly.

I visited this Pearle Vision after my Eye Doctor retired… I was seen by a female Dr. and I must say that I was nothing but happy and completely satisfied. Eye Exam was as thorough as can be. I even had my pupils dilated, which I haven’t had done in a very long time. After my exam, I was brought over to the initial Optician that greeted me when I walked in. He sits in the front and is very courteous. He showed me the latest and the greatest from all the top designer brands. My final choices were either Gucci or Tom Ford… After getting the opinion from the female Opticians, we all agreed on the Guccis. With the current promotion, I was able to get a Gucci Sunglass frame for FREE! Just had to pay for the lenses… Very satisfied and I would recommend to all! Go Pearle Vision!

This place is the definition of highway robbery. Service is decent, but the prices here are way over the roof. I can get myself a pair of glasses for half the price they charged me. In addition, they charged my father over $ 800 for his glasses and added on extra charges for sunglasses that should’ve been free.

This place is ok nothing special I did have to wait like 25 minutes after my eye exam for a rep to finally let my try on some specs though. The employees here do move kinda slow, but they were nice for the most part.

The service at this Pearle Vision is lackluster at best. I have previously found the people who work there to be stubborn and not customer friendly. I purchased two pairs of very expensive glasses(high-index lenses are always pricy, to my dismay). Shortly after, one pair showed signs of stress along the top and bottom edges of the lenses against the frame(tiny little fracture lines almost like the dashes on the edge of a ruler). I had another optician where I was living take a look. He saw the problem right away and recommended that I return to Pearle Vision where he was certain they would not hesitate to replace them free of charge, as he would do in the case of such a manufacturing or technical defect. So I waited and returned to Pearle. Needless to say, the curt and emotionless staff at Pearle put up a considerable fight in replacing the lenses in a $ 400 pair of glasses that were in otherwise pristine condition and obviously not damaged by myself. They eventually begrudgingly took them away to repair when I stood my ground, and when I picked them up, they had used a cheaper lens quality(with shiny edges on the lens that made it impossible to wear them in direct sunlight without laser-ing rays into my own eyes). All the while I was made to feel like they had gone out of their way and done me some huge favor by taking my money and then replacing the defective lenses with crappy ones. I haven’t been back since. Update: I don’t like leaving negative reviews on Unilocal. My last visit to this Pearle Vision was admittedly a while ago, so I decided to try them again since a need for new glasses arose and I pass by this place often. I should have heeded my own advice and stayed far, far away. The staff are still the same in every detail: nasty and with an aggravating lack of customer support. It’s like you’re doing them a great disservice by walking into their establishment or, my goodness, asking to try on some glasses. But don’t worry, they will make it loud and clear that they are doing you a massive favor by letting you bask in their presence. Assuming they can muster the effort to try and help you at all(probably not likely), don’t bother asking any questions about the glasses or lens materials, quality or any other basic information, because the shop assistant confuses acetate with carbon(wtf?). They get impatient easily and only want to help you if you take their advice and go for some ugly designer frames that suit their own style and cost a fortune. Just all around the worst customer service ever. They don’t listen at all to the customer on frame shape, color, design, etc. And they’re pushy as all hell to boot. I can now reiterate the above review with a clear conscience. Bad, bad, bad.
