it’s just a regular bakery. the cakes are pretty decent and all, it’s not a wow, but it’s the only bakery in town and not too bad!

I ordered a pie and specifically said I needed it picked up at 11:30 since I had to give it to someone at noon. I walked in and the lady said it is in the oven and will take another hour! She called me the day before to confirm everything-time and size. She barely spoke any English! And when I confronted her she ran back to the kitchen! Business lost– since I had ten more pies to order within the next two days! Never again!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while, but I’ve always been deterred by what looked like a lack of parking. Well, I learned today that even though there are only a couple of metered spots in front of the store, there is plenty of street parking just around the corner. Just read the signs carefully and you should be fine. The lady behind the counter was really sweet and patiently waited as I decided between the different desserts that I might want to try. In the end, I went with her recommendation of the Napoleon, the tiramisu cup, and the silk & satin. I was actually hoping they would have some gourmet cupcakes(because that’s the treat I promised a friend), but the cupcakes here looked gaudy. If you’ve ever had the cupcakes that they sell in bulk at Costco or Sam’s club, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Although the cakes and the majority of the pastries looked okay, the cookies looked stale — like they hadn’t been replaced for a while and had just been sitting in the display cases all this time. If you are particularly concerned, it might be a good thing to just ask when the cookies were baked! The Napoleon was a huge hit! I’ve never had a Napoleon before, but this one set the bar really high! The custard was a nice creamy consistency, but still light and fluffy. Although the puff pastry is layered between the custard, it was not the least bit soggy! I was a huge fan of the tiramisu as well. The cappuccino flavor was nice and strong and the ladyfingers layered in between the filling had a lovely cake-like texture. Both the Napoleon and the tiramisu were nice and light, which is how I typically prefer my after dinner desserts. The silk & satin was really pretty, but a lot heavier than the other two desserts. If you are a fan of chocolate cheesecake(think turtle cheesecake) though, you will really love this!

Me and my wife always on look out for bakery where we move. This bakery was the best bakery we ever seen so far as its tres leches and satin cake are superb and very tasty. One of the best bakeries in New York.

Custom Cakes to DIE for! I needed a big sheet cake for 50 people and the ones from the big box store just weren’t special enough for the occasion. Dessert Oasis worked with my preferences to come up with a memorable cake that was loved by every person at the event — I’m still getting asked for the bakery name over 3 months later! The cake was lovingly hand-decorated, delightfully fresh & moist, NOT too cloyingly sweet, and the fruit and filling proportions were just perfect! Very reasonable prices too. Highly Recommended!

Family and have been ordering cakes for several years, even before they switched the owner a long time ago and good quality has stayed consistent. ;) We usually get either the tres leches cake or the fruit tarte cake. I love having fruit inside in the tres leches cake but if I’m getting it for my husband’s birthday– i ask for a special order to not include fruit. they are very accommodating. I’ve also tried the custard éclair… also very yummy. IMPORTANTTIP: For the freshest quality cakes, i highly recommend to call in advance to pre-order

This place was just ok. It wasn’t bad but at the same time it wasn’t amazing. We wouldn’t travel just to go to this place again but if we were in the area and in the mood for something sweet and everything else was closed then this would be the spot. We got four things to try: Silk&Satin, peach tart, fruit tart and a cannoli. The Silk&Satin was good but extremely chocolatey and sweet. The peach tart was horrible, the crust was good, the filling was sour and the peaches were tasteless. The fruit tart was our favorite, would definitely get that again. The cannoli was also really good. There wasn’t really any parking, one of us stayed in the car while the other ran in.

Bought a football cake for the Super Bowl and it was fantastic. I think the next time I come here I will have to get their Tres Leche and/or a Boston Cream Pie. Friendly server and they take credit card.

No competition and this place is still great! Update: just had another Napoleon cake yesterday for my wedding shower celebration and just as delicious as 9 years ago from my sweet 16!

I preordered a Napoleon Cake for my husbands’ birthday on July 4th. The person who took my order was pleasant. I was expecting the cake to be pre– made at least a few days in advance in anticipation of the holiday, but was happy to say everybody who tasted the cake thought it was delicious and fresh. I would definitely order from them again.

I bought a caramel apple cheesecake and it was better than what I have expected. I also tried custard éclair and was delicious.

I bought a standard yellow cake with chocolate filling and white buttercream from them that was decent — nothing to write home about, nothing that goes in the trash. The man who worked there was very nice and helpful. My mom buys Dulce La Leche cakes from here to bring to work, and they are really good. I’m usually not a fan of fruit in cakes, but they put a layer of fruit in between the layers that really adds something to the cream and caramel. Very good.

The desserts are good. I wouldn’t say they are the best but they are definitely worth the money.
