We came to Steve with a 120 year old Steinway grand that’s been in my family for 4 generations. It had fallen into a state where it was nearly unplayable. Because of its age, and its sentimental value, I was nervous to let anyone touch it! Steve did a phenomenal job with the restoration — our century old instrument looks and feels practically brand new! He did a particularly great job with the ivory. Since it’s a piece with family history, I wanted to keep as much of the original ivory as possible, even though it was cracked and chipped in many places. Steve was able to salvage nearly all of it and refinish the keys so that they’re all solid and feel good under the fingers! I couldn’t be happier with the work he did, and I hope the piano will stay in my family for another 100 years!
