You would only shop here and have a good time if you’re already drunk. But then why would you need to come in here in the first place? How do I hate thee, River View Liquor? Let me count the ways. — High prices — Musty smell upon entry — Tiny, sad selection — Even smaller/sadder selection in fridge — Terrible location — risk an auto accident everytime you’re trying to enter via River Dr — Generally bad maintenance of store — Unfriendly aisle workers who do not acknowledge your existence DONOTGOHERE. I warned you!

If Your Desperate This Will Do This odd store has a creepy feel to it and a floor that feels like its about to give way at any moment. As you navigate the isles the racks of bottles clang and shake, a ninja would not be stealthy in this place. The owner/clerk keeps a sharp eye out on his customers, poor guy must be getting robbed blind. Entering this parking lot is very hazardous

I hate giving bad reviews, but at the same time I hope it can make a productive impact if the mgmt come across read this and use the advice constructively. With that said, this is a newer liquor store, opened around perhaps about year ago. So why such a low score? 4 simple reasons. 1. High liquor prices worst liquor store around. 2. Rude customer service 3. A terrible selection of alcohol 4. An awful extremely strong offensive smell coming from some sort of incense. 1. Their are no deals to be found here, the prices are over inflated with mark ups that’s are at least 10 sometimes up to 20% higher then the other liquor stores in the area. For example a large bottle of Cpt Morgan was priced at $ 38.00 which I think is rediculous n highway robbery, fitting I suppose considering its proximity to the entrance of rt 46. 2. Customer service or rather lack of. For one I had a gentleman that works their follow me from a distance as I looked at the selection, I had a few questions about some of the products and if they could order a rum I liked, and the gentlemen simply said no and continued to stare at me as I browsed the aisle. It made my time their quite awkward and uncomfortable and very unwelcoming to say the least. I can understand they might get shoplifted and they are trying to catch culprits, but treating each of your potential customers as a potential thief is not the smartest of ways to gain loyal customers, just saying. Invest in security devices, security cameras, etc. 3. Selection is one of the store’s weaker attributes. The vodka selection was mostly bottom shelf no name brands and a bottle of absolute, same thing across he boards with other spirits, such as rum with the extent being 750 ml bottles of no name brand bottom shelf products marked up close to $ 20 and capt Morgan marked up to a rediculous $ 38. Beer selection is completely lack luster as well; your big three, one polish brand and that’s it. 4. The store had a very strong smell of incense, think nag champa x 100. The stench border lines offensive. I would warn those sensitive to beware. All in all this is a weak liquor store. I would only recommend if you have limited time or if you need beer and it’s close to your home, otherwise their are far to many liquor stores in the area with a better selection, prices, customer service and that don’t smell.
