Staples

I will never step foot in this place again.
Before doing a somewhat complicated return do to a 2 for 1 binder promotion they had, the girl did my return and shorted me $ 15 on it.
After questioning her and requesting the manager, he scolded ME for the way the transaction was handled. He shooed me away to another register because my transaction was holding up the line. After waiting 15 minutes behind someone who had a LARGE purchase (not their fault– it was Back to School season) I get to another register with someone who has no idea how to process the transaction. The manager came over again and was bad mouthing the first employee who handled the return in the first place.
I am completely disgusted and will NEVER set foot in this place again!

Spent way too much time here because of poor communication between employees.
I had some laminating to get done, some paper holiday decorations that were bigger than the 11“x17″ maximum of the UPS store down the street. I went to the copy part, the woman measured my stuff, gave me a cost and said for me to come back in ~15 minutes because the machine needed to warm up. Guess I should call ahead next time.
So I putz around the aisles for atleast 15, and there is a new lady there, and 2 other people waiting on laminating. The lady doesn’t really know who’s stuff is who’s and is pretty perklempt. I don’t think lamination was her forte and the original person left for lunch and didn’t really fill her in enough or something. So she deals with the other two punters and finally after maybe 5 minutes talks to me. My stuff had been sitting under the counter for 10 minutes. Wow. Someone really had to help this person out or something. Next time I won’t leave the counter.

So, first you guys come out with this lovely promotion where a $ 3 coupon is given for every empty printer cartridge that is brought in for recycling. WOW! Thats great! Helping the environment AND giving me a deal on office supplies! I am so down with it! I am coming to you for everything office-​related now!
But suddenly, I notice there is a change. The coupons now expire after a couple of months. Which is less cool, but whatever, I can deal.
NOW, you have implemented some ass-​backwards, stupid, hard to follow «program» which involves a Staples card, monthly «statements» and «quarterly reports». Jeezus H, Staples, I am just trying to save a few bucks on a ream of printer paper, not digest a treatise on the business operations of a Fortune 500 company. You have bastardized what should be a simple program to the point where I could have zero guilt just throwing the damn things in the trash rather than deal with you.
Its so bad the employees working for you cant even explain it properly. You suck Staples. Just eliminate the program if you hate your customers that much and dont want them to use it.

Great, reasonable service-​and with a smile! Sara was very helpful with creating «Save the Date» cards for an upcoming event. The cards were done in a day and were a huge time saver. Thanks again, Sara, you rock!
Update 7÷13÷2007
Found very nice paper and matching envelopes for a fraction of the price that Paper Source was charging. Had the printing done as well, for 50% less than Paper source would have charged for paper alone-​no envelopes and printing would have been way more as well! They did a good job and saved me the work of printing out 85 invitations. I will use Staples for all my printing needs!
