LOCATION: Located immediately east of State Road 57 near at the railroad tracks in Elnora, IN. There is adequate parking right next to the store(on the north side). ATMOSPHEREANDDESCRIPTIONOFSTORE: A true taste of the local flavor, Graham’s is a store that has been around for several decades. It is a small, quaint store with a classic Indiana appeal. Just a small, wooden-floored store, Graham’s showcases its hallmark cheeses as well as numerous other Amish candies and snack foods. Surprisingly, they even have a small sandwich deli where we ordered a couple of fabulous sandwiches to go. There are items ranging from cheese and jams to pickles and homemade candy. Of course, the cheeses were our focus with flavors such as smoked horseradish, farmer’s cheese, cream Havarti, beer cheese, and yogurt cheese! There were also several pepper cheeses to include jalapeño and hot pepper. Of course, the typical goat cheese and Swiss/cheddar/Colby cheeses were readily available as well. SERVICE: On a quiet Saturday morning, we were the only two in the shop. The young lady behind the counter was very patient and kind. She made us two great sandwiches. CONCLUSION: We will definitely be returning as this place is near my hometown. It exemplifies the long-lasting appear of a small town local business. For cheese lovers like me, Graham’s is a must-see!
