My roommate and I are moving cross country from Carson City, NV to Chattanooga, TN and are staying a night here in Eloy at the Days Inn. I’m currently sitting in the room and I don’t even know where to start. We are in room 129. We came in and the room smelled very clean as housekeeping had just finished before we came in. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and the hotel looks like it has possibly just been taken over? Part of our room was very clean and freshly painted but the rest was a mess. The carpets are old but mostly clean. I don’t think the corners have been vacuumed since Hurricane Katrina but the larger parts of the floor are clean enough. The bed seems to be pretty much brand new so it is very firm. I checked thoroughly for any signs of bedbugs, rats or cockroaches and found no evidence of any kind of infestation. Everything in the room was unplugged when we checked in, including the mini fridge,(which, by the way, was plugged into an outlet hanging out of the wall.) I understand that the owner of this motel doesn’t own the electric company but the frost in the fridge melted and there was a huge puddle of water in the bottom of the fridge. We booked a nonsmoking room and there are cigarette burns in various places in the room, including in the sheets on the bed. Whoever smoked in here gets an F for effort. Overall, the germaphobe in me wants to suggest that the room be razed and then the land beneath it needs to be salted and left barren for 7 years to regain any kind of favor with any existing god. It is so far past needing Jesus that I’m going to have to search through the Babylonian pantheon to find a god to help. BUT it has potential and the owners seem to be working on it. The lobby looks newly remodeled and about half of our room looks like it was painted fairly recently. Maybe in time this place will be a lot better. TL;DR If you need a cheap place to crash this motel will do the job but expect to get what you pay for here.

Had to stop for a while since I’m regulated by time(trucker) it’s summer so it’s close to 110 degrees outside and I really didn’t feel like idling my truck. I stayed in room 117. This hotel gets 1 star for the room and 1 star for the staff. The lady at the counter was super friendly upon arrival and I accidentally agree to a smoking room. Got in the room and immediately turned around and switched to a non smoking(that was my bad). The clerk was more than happy to switch my room for me. Now for the room, it’s pretty run down and kinda dirty. There is dirt on the walls by the door, the AC blows cold but all the vents to control the direction of airflow are broken. The carpet is pretty old and coming up in a few areas and feels dirty. I walk into the bathroom and immediately noticed an abundance of hair still in the drain and all over the tub! I’m only hear to sleep, and I’ll clean the shower cause I don’t care«that» much. I guess it’s what you can expect for a $ 50 room. I really hope they do take renovations into consideration and possibly retrain their cleaning staff.

We made a reservation about 16 hours before we planned to arrive but got caught in traffic and weren’t going to make it. We called to cancel the reservation and were told at this particular days inn it was a 24 hour notice required and we couldn’t cancel. The new owner(apparently this one is a franchise) said that he would work with us when we got here. We finally arrived at 4 am and found that he had moved the reservation until the next day so we could check in and stay until the following morning. It was very nice of him to make that arrangement and made a rough situation a lot better. They just acquired the motel and are making changes. It is a little run down now but is nice enough for the price.

Good Morning I am writing this as we are going to Tucson I called from California about 6:37 p.m. PST on 02 February 2014 and made a reservation through the 800 number which I thought was Super 8 and I know that the Days Inn is part of their corporate chain well we didn’t make it to Casa Grande AZ and stayed in Phoenix so I called the reservation number and the hotel and they couldn’t find my reservation anywhere and I never received a email confirmation so I thought nothing of it but unfortunately I gave my credit card information and I woke up this morning with a charge for the Days Inn I called and yes anyone would get an attitude especially since you were told they couldn’t find your reservation. So I talked a young man this morning and I wanted my money back and he explained that cancellation was never done so I was charged. So i want a receipt for the charges so I called back and I talked a girl named Tasha she was not only the rudest person I have ever talk to but she said it wasn’t her problem and the room was held and I was charged and then she hung up on me. Point is dont stay at this hotel if I could give no stars I would have I have never stepped foot on their property but I drove by it an hour ago and it took a lot for me not to stop by but I would probably go to jail cause I would tell Miss Tasha off. I have called corporate and they are investigating the reservation that was never found and have filed a complaint with her management and I am calling my bank. I will never stay at a Days Inn or any hotel under their umbrella.

A very disgusting hotel. The bathroom has roach poop scattered about, wife is 5’2″ and had to squat down in the shower. Front door does not fit in the frame and allows bugs and dirt in. Carpet looks like it was on the floor of an auto shop.
