If you are driving down I-10 and looking for a culinary experience this place rocks… It’s not easy to find but worth the search. The green salsa is out of this world the server attentive — for authentic Sonoran Mexican you can’t beat The Bakery

I didn’t even know this place was a restaurant, very discreet, but when I was introduced to this place I had a red chili burrito, let’s just say when I’m in the area I make sure to stop. Fresh home cooked Mexican food. Just don’t miss it…

This is also a place to get mariscos and other Mexican food. I passed on the mariscos — it was pretty spendy, and I’m always skeptical of seafood in the middle of the desert. They had a good selection, though — pulpo, camarones, all the usual suspects. The chips and salsa were great. Chips tasted fresh, and the salsa tasted homemade — nice, deep, rich flavor. The torta was a mixed bag. The roll was pretty incredible — soft, chewy, and fresh. The meat was a serious letdown, though. Tasted more like pot roast than carne asada — bland and mushy. Fortunately, I had plenty of sauce to drown it in. I’m giving the place four stars for the price, the roll, the chips, and the salsa. Stay away from the carne, though.
