The food was good. Breakfast was reasonably priced and the service was good. What more can ask for. I’m anxious to try the dinner

Every time I’ve been there which has been a total of 3x has been horrible except for the very first experience I had a very nice young waitress other than that the other two times I had an older woman who seems to own the place and has no interest in communicating or being polite nice having any sort of conversation with you and that is what makes my experience out of Restaurant Pleasant so my last two experiences were not pleasant the food was good but not great their tortillas are amazing and a great price but that’s about it

If you wanna puke this is the place to go. When I walked in I saw a sign for a dozen homemade tortillas and when I asked the manager? if they had lard he told me butter. Tortillas do not have butter. They either use lard or vegetable oil. When I asked him if they had vegetable oil he said yes, butter. Seriously, I wouldnt let this person change my tire. The menus were pretty gross and nothing healthy was on them. The place just looked like it had not aged well. I ordered my french fries which I figured would be about two dollars. I was very surprised to see that they were four dollars. Double the price of any other restaurant in town. I got the fries about ten minutes later, the girl was pretty nice. The fries were gross. They were not cooked enough and they were cold inside. I asked the girl and the manager? if they were cooked with any type of meat. i would be they were cooked in the oil they fry fish in cuz they smell like rotten fish. Located on the bottom of the small styro was a nice rotten french fry. It was black and when broken open was fuzzy. Thats enough. I called the motel next door to get their number and they said it was open for five years. She did not seem surprised at all about the nasty food. The manager? was sitting at a table with about five customers. Maybe he should get a rag and start cleaning this nasty place. Im just waiting for the cramps to start cuz they will. Do not go here unless you enjoy lousy rotten food. I will post a pic of the fries later today, they are in the car… im staying close to the bathroom for obvious reasons. No one ever did answer the phone

Driving across southern az, there are not a lot of options for places to eat. It is a bad sign when you walk in to a place and they have a big«life after meth» poster on the wall. Keep driving to tucson, it’s only a little further!

The waitress with the glasses looked like she was going to bite us rather than take our order. I had the fish sandwich which was way over done and served up on a hot dog bun. My boyfriend had chicken fried steak which was thin, bad coating, greasy and some horrible gravy. Tasted like it was made in old oil. The hash browns were browned on the outside and wet and mushy on inside. Don’t order water unless you like unfiltered water. Coffee was ok but I had to ask for refill. If you want a quick meal that is not especially tasty it was quick. It feels like the owner of this restaurant has lost his passion! Service was bad, restaurant was clean, food was not good.

We stayed next door for the night and noticed that the restaurant was pretty busy and their parking lot is full. Figured they knew something I didn’t. We walked over and saw the Friday night special ALLTHEFISH @ CHIPSYOUCANEAT $ 10.99. Cool. It was about 8:30PM and had emptied out a bit so we would give it a try. We were seated immediately and just as we got comfortable they wanted to move us to another table, no problem. We ordered the special from one person. After a while we finally got our drinks from someone else. Fish came… so so, nothing special, but we were very hungry. No one came by to check on us, but we finally got another persons attention to get a refill on drinks. We decided to have one more small piece of fish with a few more fries between us. Another person brought this, a small plate with a small piece of fish and a small plate with a few fries. We decided it was time for the bill and someone else brought it to us. As she gave us the bill, she explained she didn’t charge us for the fries because we only wanted a small piece of fish. WHAT! We laughed because it made no sense as the sign said FISH @ CHIPSALLYOUCANEAT. As we sat relaxing before paying the bill, having a good laugh about the free fries, the chairs started going up on all the empty tables around us. It was about 9:00PM and we really had only been in there a half hour or so. Oh well, time to go. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy feeling you will not find it here. The service was non-existent, and we had no idea who was our wait person. The food was fair at best, even though we had a few free fries, but certainly no free smiles.

This place has a dirty feel to it. Everything on their menu is priced about $ 2 higher than it should be. I’m guessing they are associated in some way with the motel their nearly attached to. They brought me a huge salad… yay! Then the blue cheese dressing they served me was so watered down with milk I’m guessing that it all just kind of ran to the bottom of my salad. I got fish and chips. The lady asked me if I would like french fries with my fish… isn’t that what the chips part of fish and chips is? I was very worried when I saw fish come out that was obviously cooked by them. For that second, I really just wished they had the frozed fish that comes in a box to the restaurant just so i knew it wouldn’t suck. Guess what, it didn’t. I liked it a lot. It was breaded well, the outside was crispy, and the fish was cooked perfectly, very moist. The corn the brought out with the fish had zero flavor. It was terrible as well as the tartar sauce. One Unilocaler nailed it when he said«hit-n-miss kind of place». I just wish it was a hit and miss kind of visit, so it would b all bad or all good. Too much inconsistancy and over priced food leaves me no choice but to give 2 stars. Kudo’s on the surprisingly good fish though!

I very much like this place. Located across the street from Love’s in Casa Grande/Eloy is a family run place with a little bit of everything. Friday is fish day including all u can eat fried fish and chips as well as grilled dishes like sea bass or Mahi mahi. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and have an all u can eat 5.95 spaghetti special everyday. The Mexican food is very spicy. too spicy for my liking, but the taco plate is good and not spicy… served with rice and beans. It’s not the best food I have ever eaten, but for a sit down place, across the street from a truck stop, it’s tasty.

This is a real«hit-n-miss» kind of place. Sometimes the food and service is great, sometimes not so. If I was going off of the last visit, that was a miss. The time before that, a hit. The food — I have to be very honest, we usually go there just for breakfast. Although their Friday Fish Fry is the best I have had since moving to AZ. They also have BBQ beef and pork ribs on the weekends and different specials for the holidays. Their breakfast is what I am basing this review off of. The waitresses are usually on top of things but this last visit was lacking that service we usually get. It was hard to get coffee refills and there was really only one waitress running the whole show. When you speak to them, make sure that you speak slow and clear or you will not get what you asked for. My gf always gets the homemade biscuits(awesome) with her breakfast and a side of sausage gravy. The gravy is sometimes just that, gravy with very few, pencil eraser size pieces of sausage and sometimes it’s packed with huge chunks. This last time the hashbrowns were a little on the soggy side. I always get the biscuits and gravy. A full order is 4 biscuits. This time the waitress took two biscuits and cut them in half, making well, mathematically, 4 biscuits. Really just 2. Never had that happen before. We are really on the fence about going back to this place for breakfast, just gonna have to see how we feel. The Fish Dinner is awesome. All-u-can-eat fish, salad, coleslaw and a potato for around $ 10. Cheap half pitchers of ice cold Mich Ultra make it worth while.

Food is always good, servers, well let’s just say depends on the day. Been coming here for years and it stays pretty consistent. For value seekers, all you can eat spaghetti is not bad, especially with some wine… LOL
