This place was alright. Got a botana for 2 and compared to the botana for 2 I have gotten at other places this hardly compares. It didn’t have nearly as much food as the others. Another place gave me boxes of food and the chips were piled high with beans and meat. These hardly had beans on them. Maybe 6 small slices of avocado thrown on there, no guacamole, no lettuce. Their beans had no flavor either. A tiny cup of rice with it. Not enough rice share for two people. Came out to 21 bucks and change. Probably won’t be coming back.

Excellent tacos Jalisco style! They come with two tortillas and are awesome! We also tried the baked potatoe. You better be ready to share it with someone else as it is huge! Place is very clean and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and this is not surprising since it is run by the owners and they appreciate your business. I will definitely come back here when I am in town.

This little family owned place is great for what it has to offer on its limited menu. It is a small location with a few booth style tables as well as a couple of small tables for two down the center. You can often hear the cook chopping up the meat through the little door leading to the kitchen. They offer Mexican style tacos in double wrapped soft corn tortillas. Non of that taco bell style hard shell that many Americans associate with Mexican tacos. The fillings are fajita, ground beef, or chopped grilled steak. If you ask for them with everything, they also put cilantro and grilled onions on them, unless you ask for them to go, then those toppings are inside your little foil packet of tacos, but on the side. The order of tacos comes with 6 small tacos and a small cup of charro beans. Charro beans is basically like a pinto bean soup in a rich broth with veggies and some bacon and pork rinds. Absolutely delicious. The portion at this location is way too small in my opinion. Beans are cheap and they could afford to give people more. They also serve mexican lonches(sandwiches) with fajita or bistek. You get 4 little sandwiches in an order for $ 5. A little over priced, but they are somewhat hard to find and this is the only location in Elsa that has them as far as I know. Get 2 orders or add beans and a baked potato if you are really hungry because they are small. These sandwiches don’t come with a cup of beans if you take them to go, but they will give some to you if you dine in. They come with a slice of avocado, shredded cabbage and tomato along with some green and red salsa on the side. The lonches are not overly greasy and that is slightly good except that it might be the reason they are not as tasty as the ones from across the border. Don’t bother with the taco pirata at all! It is just a big overly cheesy bland quesadilla with added meat, sourcream, avocado and onions. I didn’t enjoy it at all! Very, very bland. The Panchos are very much worth a try. Basically loaded nachos with refried beans, steak and lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Very tasty! They also have imported Mexican sodas in the bottle for those wishing to satisfy a craving.
