I grew up in Elwood and the lovely ladies who own GS went to HS with me. I am so happy that they opened this boutique/​café. Elwood needs something new and unique and this fits the bill. There is NO other place in town where you can get a handmade espresso drink and the large is under $ 4. It’s a steal! Not to mention quite delicious and the perfect temperature. But let’s talk about this… the items in this little shop are spot on. They are not TOO trendy which is great. There is a mixture of styles while also being fashion forward in homegoods and clothing. I’m a stylist by trade and I wanted SEVERAL items. They have WONDERFUL taste in unique pieces. Additionally, they carry adorable house wares for affordable prices. I scored a beautiful handmade wooden wine bottle holder. For $ 35! I could not MAKE it for that or buy it for that at Pottery Barn. I was very happy with the finds and could have spent hours going through the little items, books, inspirational mugs, décor and wall hangings. It’s a great place to get a gift and worth the drive to check out something new/​different. Grab a latte and shop or sit at the coffee bar and enjoy some conversation.
Side note — there is a salon in the back too so, if needed, make an appointment and get your hair did!
