The best Dairy Queen in the area and better then most I’ve been too, in my opinion. They offer soft and hard ice cream options, they have specialty trees and cakes you can Oder for special occasions. There are some outdoor seats but this is not an eat in Dairy Queen. On a hot day or night expect long lines but after you order you think, now that was worth the wait! Btw, if you order ice cream in a quart to go, you won’t believe how cheap it is no how much they pack into those containers.

They are kind enough to offer kids s free ice cream as part of local library reading clubs. However they charge 60 cents if the kid wants sprinkles on the free small cone. Seems a bit high for sprinkles.

The best Dairy Queen in the area, in my opinion. I’ve gone out of my way to head here when I’m in the area. Ice cream seems to be the freshest tasting, especially the shakes. Am not aware of any other ones in the area that also sell hot dogs(have not had one yet)…then again, it’s not the reason one would go to Dairy Queen :) One of my visits was during an unusually warm fall night with a long line, but they did a good job of keeping it moving. The young ladies that are usually there are friendly with customers and do a great job.

It’s Dairy Queen… I’ve been to dozens in different parts of the country and the ice cream is always the same… delicious and refreshing-especially on a hot day. It simply brings back memories. I love Blizzards. maybe it’s cheesy to love Dairy Queen Blizzards, but I don’t care… they’re delicious. My daughter and I stopped here after buying a new softball bat at Closeoutbats in Westwood-she suckered me in… at least I let her THINK she suckered me in. The two young ladies working the counter were very helpful and full of smiles. Something I think is really cool about this location is they have a couple of displays that show Dairy Queen memorabilia through the years. Pretty neat to see some of the old cups and prizes. Anyway, the ice cream(I got a Chocolate X-treme and my daughter got the Oreo Cookie Blizzard) was a nice touch on a nice day with my daughter. The great service and the little memorabilia displays get this Dairy Queen an extra star. Great work ladies!

Open late during the summer months, this spot always sports a long line of people eager to get their hands on ice cream & blizzards. With at least three to four servers behind the window, your classic, typical soft serve is only a short wait away. But the ice cream to me, simply satisfies a summertime craving, it’s nothing to write home about.
