Mexican food is known to be of good quality and inexpensive. This place is not that. The quality is okay at best(nothing outstanding here), but the prices! Almost everything on the menu is around $ 10, with super quesadillas going up to $ 13! I don’t think there is another place with such prices in East Bay. And rememeber, this is a food truck! They also charge you extra for using credit card, oh, and of course, they have a nice tip jar there. Overpriced, even for Emeryville.

I’ve only had tacos from here twice and the last time was a big enough disappointment I had to share. I first tried D’Alicia’s before they got fancy and had the signage wrapped around the stand(it’s not a truck, it’s a trailer). I don’t remember it being pricey, but it was good and the salsa was excellent. I was happy they accepted cards and the owner I believe was using Square on her phone at the time. Fast forward a little over a year and I now work in the area so I was pleased to know about this divey little place, though it is a little more obvious with the purple and green wrapped walls. Orders are paid for by card on an iPad, and the menu looks a bit pricey for a taco stand. Drinks are stored in front of the stand in coolers on the ground(with no ice on the day I visited, so they weren’t cold). The amount of meat per taco is generous, meaning it will fall out as you bite into it. But who cares when it is tough and bland? I ordered al pastor and steak FYI, both disappointing and unidentifiable. I’ve had far superior tacos for $ 1.50 elsewhere. But I will say, their salsa is ONPOINT!!! Bottle that and sell it, and I’ll be back.

Another bad East Bay food place. Their vegetarian burrito is the worst I’ve had. Completely tasteless.

This rating is based off of what I was looking for from a taco truck. I ordered the regular steak burrito and was more than satisfied! Unlike most taco trucks this had a perfect meat-to-bean ratio, not to mention that they use black beans(my favorite!) and the tortilla is soft and chewy. They also offer an extra-hot sauce, which wasn’t very hot but certainly hotter than any other taco truck I’ve been to. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. If the sauce was hotter, and the tortillas were hand made this would have received 5-stars. But for what it’s worth this is my go-to truck in the area when I’m seeking an inexpensive burrito full of flavor.

This taco spot is always there during lunch. It is busy, so there is a bit of a wait at times. Price is moderate, but affordable. Portions are good, but I personally feel the tacos can be slightly bigger The quality and taste… amazing. I didn’t restrict anything and my mouth found out how hot it can be. Let them know if you can’t handle spicy! A good choice foods and agua fresca is always good!

This place is awesome! If you’re in the area I highly recommend eating here. Get the enchiladas or the super shrimp burrito.

The ladies of D’Alicia’s Taqueria catered my company’s holiday party this year and did a wonderful job. We had a wide variety of dietary preferences including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat-lovers: Alicia and Gisset were able to provide something for everyone and all at a very competitive flat-rate price. I highly recommend them for your local catering needs or a group event.

I find it so ironic that a place named D’Alicia’s is not very D’Alic-ious. Ha, you see what I did there? But seriously though, stopped by this place for lunch as I work nearby and have not been back since. For $ 6+ I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and thought they messed up my order when they handed me my food. Right off the bat, I noticed the size, or lack thereof, of the burrito. It was more like a huge taquito compared to what I am used to getting for $ 6 at pretty much every other Burrito/Taco Truck. The flavor was nothing amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. It certainly wasn’t good enough to make it OK that they gave me so little. So sad that this place isn’t better as it is literally like 3 stones throws away from my office, maybe 2 stones throws if I am warmed up and have a tail-wind.

This is the greatest spot for fresh delicious mexican cuisine. The salsa, what amazing flavor. My personal favorite is the Shrmp Taco. The Family secret recipies are definately worth a trip to the park. Great… Love it.

I had been avoiding knowing that someday I would go there when pressed for time. That day came last week. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good. They also have the usual tacos, burritos, tortas etc.

This is a dependable truck — always parked in the same spot every day. My co-workers and I like coming here to be able to eat in the park and enjoy the fresh air. Food is pretty standard. Nothing amazing, but good overall. I usually just get tacos, but some co-workers have said the veggie burrito is also good. One big plus is that the truck now takes credit cards. I’m one that very rarely has cash on me, so this has helped out a lot.

This taco truck takes credit cards!!! I have gotten their super burrito and it is huge and very tasty as well as their tacos. My coworkers and I really like this place we go often for lunch. I heard their veggie burrito is really good as well. A must tet taco truck of you are in the area. The truck doesn’t move it is always at this location and toy can eat at the park when you get your food!

I’m not sure why I keep going back to this truck. The servers have now given me someone else’s order on two separate occasions. Both times, there were fewer than 5 people waiting for their orders(how hard can it be to correctly fulfill that kind of queue?). Los Moles(used to be Cocina Poblana) is only a few blocks North, and manages better food while — amazingly — keeping orders straight. Here’s hoping I’ll heed my own words.

For a quick, cheap bite that’s tasty, this little truck has what you need. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat during a day of shopping and ordered some tacos and a super burrito. It was fast, well priced and just what we were in the mood for. I think their tacos taste just as good, if not better than some of the other taquerias i’ve tried in the area. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the mood for a quick, tasty, mexican meal.

Prices and quality is WHACK. My horchata was more expensive that my tacos! Tacos: Chicken: was too dried out, it was like they re cooked it a few times over beef tongue: too over cooked it was a stew-like consistency, and the texture was too unpleasant Carne Asada: probably the best of the options Chicken burrito: they load up on the rice and beans, not enough chicken and the chicken was too dry and hard. Tamales: Pretty good. Horchata: too much powder, i think some of it got stuck on my throat and I had to cough it out. Pineapple drink: delicious!

Really. Im not sure where these 4 to 5 star ratings come from. maybe from the salt lovers since there is plenty on the beef. Unilocalers please. think hard about your ratings. 4 to 5 stars on a Taco truck that probably uses butt attack meat sauced and seasoned so much you dont taste the armpit muscles used in a blender to mask the nasty-ness. After just once, I will not go to this place again and will head over to Rubys right next to this heart attack kart. they offer ½ sandwich and soup for $ 7. I got the super burrito(steak) and tacos(steak/chicken). For $ 6, the burrito is pretty huge. Then the $ 1.50×2 for the tacos is decent. So for price alone, $ 9 is totally not bad. But for what you get, its not worth it. Meat on chicken was bland. The steak was well seasoned with salt so it actually tasted AIGHT. hence the 3 stars, but this is nothing close to Iguanas in San Jose. gotta keep the rating consistent here. they usually get 4 – 5 stars. so there is NO way these guys can play at the same level. Too much rice and not enough meat in the burrito. Felt cheated.

As I stood there ordering my tacos, I started to look around and see signs that I needed to just forget about ordering here and find my lunch elsewhere. First off, the guy who took my order was a lil on the strange side. Perhaps it was a language barrier, but once he told me $ 3 for the 2 tacos, I had $ 5 out and in my hand. Then he proceeded to make some other guy’s order and not even start on my tacos, all the while repeating«three dollah» as if he had some sort of tourettes. It was really weird. I finally told him«I know, I heard you man» and again he said«3 dollah, I make tacos soon». I’m thinking«why not make em now dude? It’s a food truck, you better learn to multi-task son! As I’m waiting, I see the cook pull out a head of lettuce, unwrap it, not wash so much as a leaf on there and just chop chop chop away and throw a hand full of shredded lettuce in his container to use on the food. Ahhh, hell no. I don’t eat dirty lettuce! There could be bugs in there. you better rinse that shit! By now, I had also spotted the chips out and saw that they were the cheap dorito style chips and not the homemade-tasty restaurant chips. I hate those fake-ass dorito chips with my Mexican food. it makes me angry. Hell, I won’t even go back to El Farolito in the Mission because of their weaksauce chips(even though their burritos are delish). Standing there. holding my $ 5. listening to hombre repeat«3 dollah» to me, but never collecting my money. watching him chop dirty lettuce and work on 1 order at a time. coupled with the janky chip selections. I told him to never mind and I walked away. I can’t attest for taste of the food, but I can say the service and the presentation of their food was less than appealing to me after getting a close look. I’ll go ahead and continue to avoid this truck when I need my food truck fix near work.

This taco truck is parked on the west side of Doyle Hollis Park in Emeryville. They have a regular restaurant on San Pablo Ave. in Oakland. It’s really awesome the variety of menu items that this tiny truck can prepare in their little kitchen inside. Although good overall, the prices are a tad high for what u get, and cannot match a good taco truck in SF. The menu includes: burritos $ 5.50-$ 6, tortas $ 6 – 7, flautas $ 7, fajitas $ 8, enchiladas $ 7, hamburgers and fries $ 6.50, mulitas(a sandwiched taco) $ 5.50, and nachos $ 6.50 — cans/bottled drinks are stored on the coolers on the floor. The tacos are only $ 1.50, but it’s a tiny snack size version. The only other cheap items are the empanadas or sopes for $ 2.50, and tamales for $ 2. She said she didn’t have them when I visited. Considering the pricing I assume that those may be tiny versions as well. Napkins, small bag of complimentary tortilla chips and salsas(non-spicy green and spicy red) can be found on the shelf to your right. Pic of my kid sized meal, the plate was about 5″ wide. There’s a 50 cents extra cost for requesting your choice of tortilla(spinach/tomato/wheat). But for some reason she charged me those 50 cents even though I only had the regular corn tortilla. Seemed devious to me, but I didn’t say anything. In my opinion, if they want to raise the price then just charge $ 2 or whatever. Instead of being sneaky about it with nickle and dime charges. Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Cash only.

This truck was parked on Hollis next to Michael’s Arts & Crafts. I spotted it on the way to Pet Club for some cat food and grabbed a couple of taco’s on my way home. One asada and one al pastor. Wish I hadn’t. First, the corn tortillas hadn’t been grilled enough. They couldn’t handle the moisture of the meat and were breaking apart. Second, the al pastor was pretty flavorless without any salsa. Didn’t seem to have any marinade before cooking. Lastly, the asada was very, very meh. Tough, chewy and burned. Didn’t finish it. Nothing worked for me here.

This is your typical roach coach parked on the street. They have settled on Hollis near the new park in Emeryville and the locals are starting to come out to pay the truck a visit. Their menu consists of the typical tacos, burritos, and tortas. They even have a vegetarian burrito for those who don’t eat meat. Their prices are pretty high. Burritos and tortas are around $ 6.00 and the tacos are $ 1.50 but you need to get at least 3 to make a dent in your stomach. The quality is not very impressive. You definitely do not get the bang for your buck here. $ 6 for a burrito thats half the size of the burritos you get in the Mexican restaurants nearby… And, you don’t even get any chips or salsa? What?! When you ask for salsa or any kind of sauce, they deliver the sauce hastily tied in a ziploc bag. How ghetto! I’ve experienced great tasting tacos and mexican delights in hole in the walls and roach coaches but this was definitely not the case here. If you see this truck parked on Hollis right across from Ruby’s Café, keep walking.
