HA! this one closed too!

I eat here sometimes but it makes me sad at how empty it is whenever I come here. I think its because of the door placement. Sure I’m not expecting the greatest sandwich ever made but for a quick lunch it gets the job done.

this place is disgusting. the bread is stale and is very unhealthy. I just found a hair the length of 2 football fields in my sandwich. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. WARNING DO NOT GO HERE NASTY!!! This review is not for all Quiznos just this one!!!

First time I went the customer service was excellent, sandwhiches were on point and love that this location is right by my house for any last minute desperate starving moments!
They also have a private lot! Very convenient! It would be great if they set up some outside seating…

I ordered my fave mushroom and swiss prime rib sandwich, and it was so bland — I could have did it at home. Other Quizno’s have a crunchier and fuller sandwich… waste of my time. Wow, this place had gone down hill since I’ve been here over 5 years ago. BEWARE — THE COUNTER IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER QUIZNOS! Maybe I was just having a lady that I’d not having such a good time. It’s a Saturday afternoon and there’s only one person making sandwiches and taking orders. Apparently she is unsure if my credit card will go through and asked me for cash. Im not sure I’m being profiled or not.

Just don’t do it… save your money and your appetite. Seriously! I went in there for the first time and I will NEVER EVER be back.
It wasn’t only the smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. No. It also wasn’t just the fact that the lady took two calls that seem to be personal, before a guy came out to take my order and take over te phone call. It WAS however te fact that the lady wearing gloves, started to make my order after holding the phone and touching her hair.
I called her out on it, and in her defense she did change her gloves and start my order over. But it didn’t stop there. The creamy broccoli cheese soup which was the main reason for my visit was the biggest disappointment ever! It was watered down and tasted disgusting. After a spoonful, I threw it away. It was repulsive.
Never EVER again. Lesson learned!

The place is filthy and unhygienic, when i saw the Indian lady making sandwich, i pretty much lost my appetite. While making the sandwich, the phone rang, which she answered. Once done, she was about to make my sandwich without changing the gloves. I had to ask her to replace the gloves! How disgusting, she intended to feed me all the germs from the phone! While making the sandwich, she kept tossing the remaining cheese, and it would land in different box of veggie or meat. there was no name of cleanliness at all. I went to get the pickles that were kept on the side, guess what? there were bugs flying on the top! This place couldn’t get any worse.
Go to Subway across the street from these guys, very clean and good service!

This Quiznos is terrible. It is not like the others. When they brought my sandwich out to me, they asked if it was ok that my bread was burned. What the hell? How does that even happen? The toasting machine is supposed to feed the sandwich through at a fixed rate!!!
I took the sandwich anyway, and scraped off the blackened crust since I was short on time. I found that the sandwich was sloppily constructed, with meager portions, and vegetables that were not fresh. I left this Quiznos disgusted and still hungry.

Can’t go wrong with a Turkey sonoma sammie and broccoli cheese soup.

I am usually a big fan of Quizno’s and up until now I have always had a pretty consistent experience at their locations across the US, most likely because a huge percentage of Quizno’s restaurants are corporately owned/​managed. In fact i never thought i’d ever write a review of one because it seemed like they were all the same.
It’s pretty obvious from the moment you step inside that this location is not the same as other Quizno’s and must be privately owned. The layout is terrible. Who puts sliding glass doors in a restaurant like this? The first time i came the main door was locked and you had to enter via the sliding glass doors but the path to the counter was blocked by tables and chairs.
Most of the workers appear to be new to food service/​working a cash register and are in a pretty manic/​scattered mode. It seemed that ¹⁄₃ orders in front of me were wrong.
I’ve attempted to give them another shot — this time the main door was unlocked, but after reaching the line i could tell that the orders were coming out wrong and people were not looking happy — so i bolted over to subway.

I had been eating at this place before it previously closed. Was joyed to see it open back up again. Started going about once a week since its close to the office. Suddenly noticed the sandwiches shrinking. I double checked the sizes on the signs and brought it back and measured it. The Bullet should have been 6in. but it was only 4in.
Stay away! your getting short changed. I think the new owners are trying to short change people to save money!

So, the good news is that the tall white lady is back. Yay. She really is a sweetheart and goes out of her way to make the customers happy.
The bad news is, the quality of the veggies has decreased with the new ownership.
Went in for my normal veggie sandwich. Got all the way back to work. opened the bag and swear, I smelled tuna.
I thought «god damnit, they gave me someone’s tuna melt»
But, when I looked in my sandwich, ohhh, it was a veggie alright. That tuna stench was coming from the mushrooms. Eww
I bagged that fucker back up and took it right back.
Got the stink eye from the owners but, whatever. They can eat the tuna-​shrooms if they’re so sure they’re fresh!
It’s kind of a bummer. Emeryville’s food selections are becoming more and more slim. Which is probably a good thing because avoiding this crap can only result in me being more slim.
I guess it’s ultimately a lose/​win situation.

3 for now– waiting intensely…
Did I see what I just saw a couple of days ago when jogging thru town?
Are they really back in business? I swore I saw a sign saying Quiznos coming soon! Hmmmmmmmmmmm… so why did they close down in the first place? I was so disappointed that one last year that I parked in their TINY parking lot and saw the place all boarded up… So disappointed I had to go do Subway :(
Anyhow…I am waiting… maybe my eyes decieved me… I will walk by there later today to see if they are really opening back up and perhaps it’s new management… can’t wait to have my sammies!!! small enough to fufill!!!

This location sucks. I called them prior to driving there and they didn’t speak English and hung up on me!
Anyhoo, I drove there and when I got there they were out of the prime rib… that’s the only reason I went there. I ended up leaving without ordering and drove to another Quizno location to get the sandwich I was craving. I will never go to this location ever again!!!

It’s pretty hard to mess up a franchise store, but the owner/​operator of this one has managed to drive my business away. The food here is standard Quizno’s fare. The staff on the other hand have always been slow and not-​so-​good at dealing with a rush. It may be better now, but I’ve given up on this place.

Unfortunately the one person holding this place together is no longer there. I got overcharged, had to wait 10 minutes and got ranch (yuck) dressing on my caesar salad.

Dude I love Quiznos! I think there are some days where I just really want Quiznos. Like today when I came into work, I immediately asked 3 coworkers what they were doing for lunch and if anybody was up for Quiznos (I was able to get one person to go with me. She said she wasn’t sure she was going to get anything but the power of Quiznos got her too and she got a sandwich). I don’t know what it was, I was just in the mood and also wanted a chocolate chip cookie.
This location is somewhat close to my work (but not in a few months since my office is moving. boo.). The parking lot is really seriously small and kind of annoying to try to get into, but all the times I’ve come here it hasn’t been too busy and parking hasn’t been hard. There is also usually street parking.
I almost always get the same thing, which is the honey bourbon chicken, no onions. I usually get regular size and split it up during the way but I always find eating after eating 1 half of the regular I’m still hungry so today I got a large.
I like that the soda machine has Lean Sobe too in my favorite flavor. Oh and the lady was nice.

Walked down to this teeny tiny location for lunch on Friday and picked up the Balsamic and Alpine Chicken which are my favs. I’m sure I can eat about half a dozen of these because of my presently hefty appetite but nooooo, I had to control myself and only got one of each. They’re light on the tummy and sooo tasty!

If you look closely, there’s a little brass buddah sitting atop the quizno’s sign. Wasn’t he one of those pacifists that was against eating dead animals?
Anyway, Quiznos is easily the king of the chain-​sub shop. Tons of meat, higher quality, and mm mmm mmm mmm mmmmm toasty. Next comes subway, followed by Togo’s in dead last.
This location is pretty good, but I usually go at around 2 after the lunch rush!
