Stopped in for breakfast. Hearty and delicious. Super friendly service and gorgeous old time saloon interior. Highly recommend.

My father and I are on a long road trip and decide to drop down into Yellow Stone whilst driving through Montana, we are hungry and can’t wait to get to the Wyoming border, so we pull over to ask around. Low and behold we had stumbled into the parking lot for Livery Stable.
Surprisingly not busy, yet everyone inside was a local (whom were very friendly!). We ordered and the food (breakfast) was great, exactly as we had requested. The atmosphere was authentic and reminded one of being in Montana a 100 years ago — as I am sure the building was around this age. The person serving us was genuinely interested in us and what we wanted, and interacting with us. Very pleasant experience. Reasonably price and portions were also good; not excessive but good.
TL;DR, a great authentic Montana place to stop by on the way to (or away from) Yellow Stone, with a family would also be great, I’m sure kids would get a kick out of it.
