I used Allied Inspections to perform an inspection on a home I purchased last month. The day after we moved in, it was raining and there was a huge puddle of water in our garage. We though maybe it came in though the door. Two other times it rained we had a large puddle. We realized that it was coming through our roof. I called Allied to see what I could do about our home warranty and they told me they didn’t miss anything, just that we had some strong winds lately and that a shingle could have been damaged since the inspection. I had a roofing company come and they showed me 9 large rusty nails sticking up through the shingles! I couldn’t believe this was not picked up on my inspection as the report is very detailed and there are pictures of my roof. Luckily it was an easy fix, but I was very dissapointed. I paid $ 400 to make sure my new home was thoroughly checked, and something very major was overlooked.

I have used this company twice and both times there services were great! Both times, all, of our questions were answered and they emailed very thorough reviews. My husband and I are happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a home inspector!

Fred Durham of Allied Inspection Services performed a home inspection for us today. I initially balked at the price, but went with him based on a personal reference. After the fact I can say he was worth every penny of it and more! He is extremely thorough. He spent most of the day going through the property, and he explained things both in great detail and with exceptional patience. He has many, many years of experience, and respects the confidential relationship he has with his clients. I wish I had him when I purchased my first house 25 years ago. If you’re buying a home, don’t skimp on the inspection, you want to know everything. Five stars is not enough; Fred rocks!
