Honestly, yarn stores can have terrible reputations for being snobby and unhelpful. Quite a few have upset me and I never returned. This store is 45 mins from my home and I will be returning. Very gracious, enthusiastic greeter and the owner was very helpful, warm and willing to encourage. I would recommend this store. Is it pricey?! Well, yes. But this store was not pricey compared to other high quality stores. And again, I was treated so well. I’ll be back.

Best yarn store in the area! Always willing to help you with a pattern or project no matter where you bought the supplies. Cindy and her staff are the best!

I stopped in as I was checking the area out as a potential relocation for my job. I loved this shop! the ladies were very helpful, with great advice for working with silk yarns and winding lace weights. They also had a wonderful selection of several high-end yarns that I have only seen available online. Needless to say, I ended up getting much more than I had planned for a simple«let’s just check it out» mission! If I do move to the area, I will definitely become a regular at this shop!

I stopped back in as I promised and the woman at the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was also another woman in there working that I never seen. She was helpful as well. I ended up making a huge purchase and over all I was satisfied. I would recommend going in there now especially for their really neat yarns. I appreciate the turn around.

I really love the vibe in Emmaus… so I was really excited when I saw there was a knitting shop down there. I was kind of disappointed. They opened late and the ladies in there were busy chatting, and were really not helpful. However, I don’t look like your typical knitter, so they may have thought I wasn’t very serious about it. However, I do a lot of knitting and was looking for a bulky yarn for a scarf I was going to send to my friend. Their bulky selection was sub-par, they didn’t even have Lamb’s Pride Bulky! Maybe it’s because I am from another part of the country, but Lamb’s Pride Bulky is kind of a basic knitting staple. Looks like I am back to ordering online…

If you knit or crocket then this is your place. EVERYTYPEOFYARN! Handmade, thin, thick, organic, etc. TONSOFYARN! I recently brought my grandmother to this store and she loved it. It’s a cool place to stop by or bring grandma.

I am a failed crochet person. I love the idea. I love yarns. But I stink at crochet… I’m far too tense to relax enough to do it correctly. Conversational Threads is enough to make me want to bring my crochet hooks back out. This place has every incarnation of yarn that you’d want. The owner is normally inside, doing all sorts of fiber arts. I felt inspired by all the selections, and I thought I’d never pick up my hook again. Most of the yarn is pretty pricey, but good yarn cost more than a pretty penny. I thought they were reasonable prices considering the product. They also always have beautiful window displays, if you just want a peek.
