I have a few in the hopper but wanted to save my first review for . For those of you who may not know keys vary from size, shape, manufacturer, and so on. So when you lose your 1981 Honda Passport C70 scooter key lets just say it’s not the easiest thing to find, anywhere. Two days before Halloween I drove my baby blue C70 home from work. I skirt recklessly around our cars in the driveway and park at the gate which opens into my backyard. I turn the scooter off, put the key in my back left pocket, open the gate, and walk the bike into my shed. That walk is about 30 total feet from start to finish. Somewhere in that straight and direct stroll the key disappeared. The actual key vanishing fits all descriptions of the word, vanish. Look it up. That is what happened. The search began. Over the next several WEEKS I tore the house apart, emptying drawers one by one, moving and disassembling furniture, blaming the dog, sifting leaves, borrowing a metal detector. It was amateur hour to the Nth degree. I had settled and realized it was gone but the pragmatic part of me could not let go of Where did it go? I joined a Yahoo group specifically designed for and frequented by owners and hobbyists of this type of moto scooter. Within a few days I had some great leads and info. I had been on a few auction sites and almost purchased non-OEM(Original Equipment Manufactured) parts to replace what was missing and now nonfunctional. Every option was expensive and would take days or weeks. Bummer. Then light came through the interwebs and delivered me this guy at probably has some available. After a few emails going back and forth and learning how to tell what type and model of key and most specifically which actual key duplicate marries with my ignition, helmet lock, and fork lock switches he had one! For under $ 20 total I sent payment and received a key that actually is OEM& most importantly starts my beautiful machine. Thank you . You have been an integral part of making 2013 a fantastic ‘start’ to a new year.
