I’ve been to this studio quite a few times, but this is my first time reviewing it. I’ve only done the hot yoga classes, haven’t had a chance to try out the anti-gravity classes yet so I can’t comment on those. I like this studio a lot! It’s better than the other yoga studios I’ve been too in the Lehigh Valley. + REALHEAT. They heat the room to 100+ degrees for the hot yoga classes. I wasn’t prepared for this the last time that I went and I got really light-headed toward the end. If you’re not used to hot hot yoga, attend a warm class where the heat isn’t as intense and drink lots of water about 90 min before class. + YOUWILLSWEAT. I know there are people out there that don’t believe yoga is a workout, but you are guaranteed to sweat it out in these hot yoga classes. They also include lots of plank/abdominal work, so be prepared to feel it the next day. + GREATINSTRUCTORS. I’ve taken classes with Jesika, Jessica, and Kevin. Love them all. When I was there most recently, I was the only person in the class and I kinda loved it! Jesika was great, she gave me one-on-one pointers and adjustments for each pose we went through, adjusted the class to my pace, and stopped and asked me if I had questions during each break. Kevin’s class is really awesome too — I love the music he plays. He plays this 500mHz recording over particular songs(sounds weird but it works really well) and for me it really helps to get in the yoga mood. + CHALLENGINGCLASSESFOREVERYONE. No matter your level, each instructor provides modifications and challenges for every person attending. I can’t do arm balances well, but they give me an option to continue to strengthen in preparation for those arm balances so I still get the benefit. — SMALLCLASSSPACE. Can be a little cramped during popular classes, but that’s normal for most yoga studios anywhere. Sometimes it’s hard to see the instructor, but they are good about being vocal and walking around the room to help. — LIMITEDMIRRORSPACE. After taking classes at multiple studios, I’ve decided that you should either have lots of mirrors or none at all. Nothing in between. There’s one wall of mirrors that are the short side of the room so unless you’re in the very front, it’s hard to see yourself. + GREATSTUDENTRATESFORDROPINS. $ 10 for students. Great deal. Period. The studio has lots of classes geared toward kids(don’t have any of my own, but I think it’s cool) and tons of great classes offered throughout the day. It’s a really nice studio, always very clean and you can rent yoga mats and borrow blocks/straps if you use those in your practice.
