Smells. This hotel has them. Smoky smells! Mildewy smells! And several others that, while unidentifiable, are appreciably unpleasant. Did not like! Also, the «full hot breakfast» was neither full nor hot. In the end, though, we slept peacefully and without interruption, and they gave us a late checkout without protest.

We stayed as our Son was doing an overnight college visit. This is a basic hotel– no frills and what you would expect in this neck of the woods.
Staff were pleasant and it was clean and very close to the university.
This is the only
Hotel in town– so book early for events for the university.

Wyndham, VA
Came during a soccer and Irish dance tournament weekend. Quite busy.
Check in — fine. Weird charge on room safe. Have tell on check out that safe was not used for small refund.
Pool — fine, no hot tub. Strong chlorine.
Room — good sized, no bath tub, but large shower. Sink a little cramped. AC unit relatively quiet.
Breakfast — good. Nice selection, good English style sausages, waffles tasted a little strange. Good sized room, handle flow even during busy weekend.
Overall — we’d come back.

Hotel was fine, the pillow cases looked a little dirty but it could have been old stains… other than that, the rooms are spacious, and it is close to school (MSM) so it was great! I’m sure we will stay here again for our next reunion!
