Great stop in Empire for lunch or ice cream(or both!). My mom read an article talking about the new sandwich shop addition so we tried it yesterday. We both had the chicken, cherry salad(homemade) on a spinach wrap with a bag of chips and a drink. The chicken salad was delicious and the portion size was generous. After lunch, I had an ice cream and Mom had a cookie(both to die for!). We sat outside to eat and enjoyed what’s left of summer then did a little shopping. This is a nice, reasonably priced alternative in Empire! I hope they stay in business!

I had the best ice cream cone ever today! This is a must stop when visiting the area. The people in the shop were so friendly it was like talking to old friends.

Coffee was solid, ice cream was the same brand as the town over, but $ 1 cheaper per size and the sandwiches and salads were all delicious and only $ 6 – 7 ***CASHONLY*** but there is an ATM across the street. Also, not much indoor seating.

I’ve been to Tiffany’s before and the remodel they did is absolutely amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised at the addition of Little Finger Eatery. I couldn’t wait to try their food. I got the pesto caprese panini and my wife got the Empire salad. Bother were delicious(I’m not going to lie, I ate some of hers when she wasn’t looking). After we ate, we each grabbed some ice cream and walked the couple of blocks to the beach to watch the sun set. If you’re in the area I highly recommend it for a meal, ice cream, or both.

Reopened with new ownership. Ice cream shop. I asked about hot fudge last year and the owner said no one really asks for it. No hot fudge. Really? Really?

Tiffany’s was a short 2 block walk from The Lakeshore Inn, where my wife and I stayed for 3 nights on vacation. We discovered Tiffany’s on a walk around Empire around midnight and it had already closed so we were excited to go back the next day after a day at Sleeping Bear Dunes. We each got a cone and walked with them to the beach to watch the sunset. The ice cream was so delicious and affordable, the town so charming, and the simplicity of our evening so romantic, we recreated the event the next day. Great ice cream selection(Happy Camper flavor of pretzels and marshmallow was incredible!!!), clean establishment, and close to the beach! This stop will make your time in Empire feel even more vacation-y!

I dream of Empire. Not only do i dream of the sunny, sandy coast, but i dream of the frozen licks of Mackinaw Island fudge after a hard day of flying kites and swimming at the beach. There’s not much to this place. Usually a brace face ackward teenager serves up a monster waffle cone stuffed so high it defies gravity. The wood floor creaks with every step like an old hardware store and the air is thick with sugary sweetness. I’ll sit outside to gawk at the collection of lawn gnomes that the neighbor has in the front yard and consider taking one on some photographic adventures. For some reason this is one of my favorite places in the world and anticipate going here as often as i can. If you know where empire is, i also suggest checking out the dunegrass music festival, super fun. cheers.

With a rotating selection of hand dipped Moomer’s ice cream, where can you go wrong here? The small cones are huge. Two giant scoops of whatever you’d like. I picked Butter Pecan(with WHOLE pecans) and Strawberry Cheesecake. My husband ordered up the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Peanut Butter Swirl(with massive chunks of pb cups). Delectable, melty heaven. Under $ 3 for a small(enormous) cone. The Connecticut woman in front of us couldn’t get over the size. «I’ll never be able to eat this! I need a cup! Marnie, you have to help me eat this! Oh, my word!» Uh, yeah. I had no problems polishing off my cone. But I’m a Midwesterner.

As if I hadn’t eaten enough at Joe’s next door… we just had to stop at Tiffany’s on the way out. The kids were restless and deserved a treat. I had my usual chocolate chip cookie dough and it didn’t disappoint. Little benches outside to sit, lick your cone and watch Small Town America meander by.
