A Better Balanced Body

I was looking for a SPF mineral base foundation that was natural and did not clog my pores. As a result I was recommended to this place for their line of products that they sell. I really had a very easy and wonderful experience at A Better Balanced Body. I was able to squeeze in an appointment on the day of. The lady who helped me was so cheerful and sweet. She first asked me questions about what my skin régime was and what products I was using. Then she asked me what I was trying to achieve from my skin, from there she picked out a few products and help create an entire new skin régime for me. I have to admit she really knew what she was talking about and educated me about proper skin care. What I liked about the whole process is that she was not trying to up-​sell me anything. I came in and out with exactly what I was looking for and I really appreciate that. I could tell she was genuine and really cared about her customers. I am surprised that this place doesn’t have more reviews. Although I never had any of their services I think it is a hidden gem that is definitely worth checking out.

It’s tricky to find as it’s actually in the alley way behind Kotija Jr. and Sub Palace. After asking Sub Palace they helped us find it! It’s a cute little cottage style in the alley way.

— funny, I bought her the gift card to Spa Finder for her B-​Day then she found this place right by my house and booked us both massages for my B-​Day!
The ladies were nice, inviting, sat us in comfy leather recliners while we sipped tea and filled out info about our bodies since it was our first time. Then we each went to our private rooms for the hr long massages which were mediocre. I had been injured so experienced in massage and I guess I’m spoiled. I asked her to do things, which she did but not as good as others.
I like the tiny homey feel of this place and will probably come for a facial as one of the gals (forget her name) seems very knowledgeable in treating dark spots but probably will stick to Body Works Emporium down the st for massages.

This place is amazing. The place is small and gives you a real home-​y feel. There’s no bull here. Not one of those dumb chains. Real Mom and Pop style (in the best way possible) They will take care of your skin. I’ve been going to Gigi for over a year now and my skin is amazing now! It’s clear and glowy and she has over 25 years of experience. She’s so charming and she can give you tips on just about everything skin care.
If you want an thorough massage and long term results, see Gigi. I don’t know what I would do without her.
They are also one of the only spas I know that has a Membership Program. There are 4 levels. One that will suit any need. You pay monthly at a discounted rate. It’s amazing and helps me keep up with my skincare régime.
