I went to Phil for my first acupuncture session and I was overwhelmed by the care he put into my appointment. Before I walked in, Phil was already poised on an exercise ball reading about his practice, which I felt exemplified the care and passion he puts into his work. I have been to a couple of acupuncturists and I like Phil because he treats what needs to be treated. He isn’t a cookie cutter type of practitioner. Dr Gallo is an amazing acupuncturist and healer. He is extremely knowledgable and well versed in all areas of the body. We sought his sports acupuncture treatments for our daughter as she has been battling for four months with shin splints, Osgood Schlatters, ligament and tendon issues in the foot and now a stress fracture. Three treatments with Dr Gallo that included acupuncture, active release & Chinese cupping… and we were out of the foot boot ten days later. Dr Gallo is very professional, he genuinely cares about his patients and is very focused and present while tending to his patients. Went to Phil off a groupon and am very glad I did. He focused on my knee problems and to be perfectly honest, it did feel better the next day. He is a great guy who genuinely cares about his clients’ well being. He takes the time to explain how the acupuncture works and is very learned in the practice. I never thought I’d be «that guy» with back pain, but at 42 here I am. After quietly enduring it for 10 years or so I finally decided to give Phil a whirl with a daily deal offer. Phil is an amazing acupuncturist! I found him through Groupon in January, but continue to see him as my primary acupuncturist now since I’ve had such amazing results with him. I was experiencing chronic neck pain, acid reflux and could NOT kick this horrible cold/​flu I had for weeks. Western meds and antibiotics were not working for the cold I had. After the first session, my cold was gone! I noticed immediate relief from my neck pain and acid reflux also! He really cares about his patients and their health. He is very thorough in his initial evaluation of your individual medical needs. He is actually very thorough at the beginning of each session in assessing how you are feeling and if his treatments were effective. He is very good about explaining what he is doing during the treatment and how the acupuncture is working in each specific location on your body. Awesome acupuncturist!

I have been working out with Phil for about six months now. He is a great trainer. He does combination exercise sets which give you a full body workout. He also incorporates balance and flexibility into each set. I have noticed a huge difference in my balance since I began. I joked with him that I was in clown training because I didn’t realize how unstable I was when i first started! I have also regained the strength I had when I was younger. Phil also is good at suggesting things to improve your overall health and wellness. He also knows what to do to increase recovery time from injuries as well as stretches and the good ol foam roller to work out aches and pains. I highly recommend!
