Auntie Allison’s Bed n’ Bark

Allison is absolutely wonderful. She takes care of my two dogs when I travel and I don’t know what I’d do without her. She regularly sends me the best photos and funniest updates, which puts my mind at ease. The dogs love her. They are so happy to go over to her place and hang out on her sofa, on her lap, in her yard. It’s as if they are going to camp. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and they love her. I highly recommend Allison!

Allison is – by far – the best canine caregiver we have ever had. Over the past six months, Allison has not only taken in our large breed dog with open arms, she has done so with deep understanding of canine behavior and needs, and demonstrates genuine love of canine company. The photos she has posted on Unilocal capture how comfortable dogs are at her home, and while they are provided autonomy to play, the environment is always under a watchful eye. Allison takes time to get to know each dog well and we have never worried when dropping off our dog at her home. Her communication is frequent and she provides many comfy and safe resting options for all types of dogs. We’ve felt fortunate to have her for our dog. Our only disappointment is that she does not take care of cats too!

Allison is really wonderful with dogs. She’s responsible, vigilante and loving. And her house, with its large fenced yard, lawn, fruit trees, and dirt patch (for the burying of bones) is a doggie’s dream.
