BodyWork Etc is the best kept massage secret in Encinitas. I have been a customer for years and they have gotten my body through the stresses of marathon training, intensive business travel and prenatal craziness. This is a very intimate and personalized operation that takes great interest in you and your specialized needs. The building/​environment is ideal for massage, allowing for a truly relaxing experience every time.
In terms of therapists, I now use Carolee exclusively and have honestly never had someone so in-​touch with my body. Whether it’s a deep-​tissue I’m needing or a relaxing massage to calm me, she nails it EVERY time. I used to get massages at hotels occasionally when traveling but I don’t bother anymore — Carolee has set the bar too high and everyone else only serves to disappoint.
I encourage everyone to support this fine (and local) establishment. They’re a gem of a place and Carolee is their diamond.
