Davida Shreiber, MA MS LCSW

My 20 year old niece began seeing Davida Shreiber at my suggestion. Davida had come highly recommended to me and she has been an incredibly wonderful help to my niece. I think she is especially sensitive to young people’s concerns about therapy. My niece was a bit resistant at first but now readily sees Davida every week. At first I attended a few sessions with my niece and I was impressed with Davida’s insight into complex problems/​issues that my niece had. I would ask myself «Why did Davida ask that question or bring up that issue?» And then it would quickly become apparent that Davida had a handle on the issues that needed to be addressed. I highly recommend Davida without any reservations.

Last year, my teenaged daughter decided she’d like to be able to confide in someone in addition to us (her parents), about her life and how she deals with it. We found Davida and our daughter has been seeing her for about six months.
Davida has been kind, gentle and solid and my daughter has found great comfort and guidance with her. They they have forged a great bond.
My husband and I feel greatly relieved to have such a caring professional to help us with our daughter’s navagation and growth during these important years. An unexpected bonus in this situation, besides my daughter’s improvement, is a parental benefit: My husband and I now have additional help with any issues that come up (and help from a «professional» if often preferred to help within the household).
