The shutters we received from this company were operable, but they had a strong odor of turpentine/gasoline/paint??? that was so toxic we were unable to use the bedroom in which they had been installed FOR OVER A MONTH.
The company offered to remove them and reinstall them after a few weeks, but that would have been too much trouble.
In addition, they do not close tightly and we had to install shades behind the shutters to block out the light.
