Nevertheless, Jill challenged the negotiated price and through her deftly managed relationship and an almost daily follow through with the short sale lender, she saved her clients $ 10,000 plus a percentage of all the myriad costs associated with the higher purchase price. This was money they were later able to invest in renovating their new home instead.
On top of all that, she has chosen to work for an independent brokerage that charges significantly lower fees, allowing her to pass those savings on to her clients. This allows her to offer home sellers a reduced commission rate which, for the majority of home sales here in North County, could mean a savings of between $ 3,000 — $ 7,000!
