Oh my goodness, this place is amazing! Driving to SD from the OC and got hungry, checked Unilocal for a close Café and saw reviews were super so decided to check it out. I got the Carribbean burrito-WOW– plantains, avocados, black beans with homemade salsa from their fridge, mmmmmm SO yummy! My family who is picky tried a bite and loved it too! I’ll be back soon.

There is something for everyone here. All healthy options. I get the machaca burrito which you can get with real, turkey or soy chorizo. Great Acai bowls too!

Met my friend for dinner here. We used a certificate for our meals. I ate their Thai wrap with chicken instead of tofu while my friend ordered a special dinner bowl full or vegetables sprouts and more. Everything was fresh, organic and prepared and served promptly. You order at their counter and then they serve you. Lots of food choices for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as nonalcoholic beverages. As a fast food restaurant it was ok, clean, easily accessible and quiet. It definitely was casual. I liked it for a first experience but probably won’t be back. Although the food was organic and healthy I didn’t find it flavorful unless you added a lot of hot sauce.

Love Mozy’s. This is one of our favorite local places to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. Super chill vibe, friendly people, great(and sometimes interesting, but still great) music with sing-alongs from the kitchen and can’t say enough about how delicious their food is. The Caribbean burrito is my personal favorite.

This is a quaint restaurant with a Carribean theme. The service was fast and we enjoyed our food. It is not fancy yet a good place to get a quick and affordable bite to eat.

What a great little burrito eatery. Friendly service, good smoothies, and creative food concepts. I love all the healthy options, and some of the lighter than normal offerings. I had the Cuban Burrito which was really good. The smoothie I had was all really well balanced, not too sweet not too tangy. Check out the adjacent T-shirt store next door while waiting, that have some fun local shirts you might just end up picking up. That whole little strip of shows is really cool and worth a stop.

Food=Amazing Seating=Sucks Service= Excellent I ordered the Cuban Burrito with Soy Chorizo. I was pleasantly surprised. The texture married perfectly and I was satisfied. My daughter wanted the Honey Oats. We assumed it would be like Cheerios. Not at all… a HUGE bowl with dried oats, banana, blueberry, coconut flakes and coconut milk(the only milk they serve). Needless to say my 5 year old was only interested in the banana. While quite delicious when I tasted it I think it was too much presentation and quantity to be on the kids menu. Lastly my son ordered the chicken tacos. He enjoyed them so much he wanted to order more!

My friend who lives in the Encinitas area suggested we meet here for lunch one day while I was visiting from the OC. So glad she recommended it! The staff was so friendly and the food was beyond amazing. Can’t wait to come back again and eat here!

The Mozy Café is a pretty neat little beach eatery located right in the heart of Leucadia. This place reminds me somewhat of a more homey feeling Swami’s, not quite sure why… The food here is pretty dang healthy and they have a nice selection of Kombucha, which is good by me, especially for breakfast. They burritos and bowl selections are rather eclectic but they are indeed delicious. Pair the delicious menu items with the cool laid back vibe and you have yourself a solid place to eat. Pros– Great menu Service Kombucha selection Outdoor seating Laid back vibe Portions Cons– Very small w/limited seating Menu may not be for everyone

This place is tremendous. The coffee is fresh, strong and flavorful, and the burritos are unique and healthy! Your body will feel so nourished and grateful after eating this food. If you are lucky, you will get to meet Jimmy. I see him in the mornings and he always makes my day happier, and he makes you feel like a welcome friend. I highly recommend bringing a friend here, sit out front and people watch along the coast highway; or grab the food to-go and picnic on the beach just a step away! Definitely eat the little peanut butter cookie balls when you are here . Good vibrations.

I’ve ventured over this way twice now. Parking is fine, even on a Saturday afternoon because the dirt lot across from the building is always open. It’s a tiny little place with a couple of tables outside, and a side seating to the right when you walk in. Everyone is really friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. I’m a fan of their burritos and I am super picky about tortillas. Most of the time they are dry, or too big for what it’s actually encasing– this is not the case here. Their whole wheat tortillas are great! I’ve had the greek burrito and the mega? burrito.(I can’t exactly remember the name of that second one). It comes with a side of color chips and there is fresh salsa in the fridge for you to grab, if you’d like it. Wholesome. Filling. Right up my alley!

Chill vibes, beachy location and good tasting healthy food! What else could you ask for? The employees are really sweet here and more than a few times that i’ve been I have heard the cooks singing to the reggae music they play and then some laughter from another coworker listening… which makes me happy, like who doesn’t want to have fun at work and enjoy what they do? You can tell they put a lot of passion into their food! My favorite: The chicken fajita burrito sooo good with the fresh salsa & tapatio! Falafel here is really good, Erin’s burrito(my bf’s favorite even before we started dating haha), they also have plates/bowls that they can put together for you based on whatever you like… ex: rice, beans, fried plantains, chicken and then I like to mix it together. Soo good! *Try their Peanut butter cookie balls* they are at the counter where you order/pay! You will fall in looove… so good they have peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips and a bunch of other yummy ingredients! I believe they are vegan too ;) but I might be wrong. oops

Yep, this spot is the real deal. Reminds me of a little restaurant that you might find in like Costa Rica or Nicaragua. Instantly transports me to surf trip mode. Super chill vibe, good food, great staff and overall one of my favorite spots in Encinitas /SD. I usually cruise through after a surf and grap their acai bowl. Probably my favorite acai bowl in SD(Surfdog’s Java hut has a really good one as well). They pack that sucker full of all sorts of tasty treats. Their burrito selection is killer as well. Offering a non-standard burrito selection including flavor profiles from the carribian and Mexico. So throw on your board shorts and flip flops and check this spot out. Keep it weird leucadia.

Where do I start? Hands down the best hidden gem in Encinitas! I love everything about this place. The environment the people, the food. Some really good grub! Love the Erin burrito! I highly recommend this place! This is where my husband and I had our 1st date! And they will make any burrito into a bowl for you! :) Love it here!

Second time i have been here. The first was a quick stop to grab a smoothie. A friend asked me to come here for lunch the other day. So many options to choose from and some seemingly weird combos. So, of course I choose something that seemed familiar. The spicy tofu thai wrap. It was ok. The peanut sauce sounded the best I think. Although ALL of their hot sauces are insanely good, non of them went well with this wrap. I had a bite of my friends wrap. The turkey, plantain and some other ingredients. So good! I think I will have to stop in and try the chicken plantain wrap at some point in time. Definitely not a place to take a date! No ambiance at all. A bit dirty feeling with wood painted table, broken down chairs, an outdoor covered patio but good healthy food. I believe the only drink options besides smoothies were yerba mate and waters. Nice staff and helpful. Food 4 stars.

I love this place. We have plenty of great restaurants in San Francisco, and yet I continually dream about a beach day that starts with breakfast burritos and acai bowls. So. Flippin. Good. Swing by in a swimsuit and board shorts, you won’t regret it.

Mozy’s holds a special place in my heart and the fact that it has survived for over 10 years proves it’s a favorite among locals too. The food is fantastic and the vibe is pure funky Leucadia. Do not miss this place if you’re here visiting. There is plenty of seating in the enclosed space to the side. You may have to walk a bit as parking can be scarce, but it just means you’ll have time to visit some of the unique shops along Coast Hwy 101. Mozy’s is great for lunch or breakfast. Surfers, yogis, health food fanatics all love Mozy’s!

Whoa. Ordered a Caribbean burrito and thought… damn, this is healthier than a carne asada burrito. Did not feel guilty eating the whole thing! The burrito has black beans, cheese, avocado, and plantains. Their plantains give a nice added flavor to their burritos. I definitely wish they had one close to where I work(La Jolla).
