Quality Inn Encinitas Near Legoland

Great customer service at the front desk by josh, he was incredibly sweet and made us both feel comfortable! Got to talking and having a great conversation; which is rare nowadays.
The beds were pretty comfy.
The smoking rooms did not have that stale funky smell yo it like most generally do, so we really appreciated that! We arrived late and was still allowed to grab a piece of fruit and snack for the night from the breakfast room, which they didn’t have to do. The breakfast was really good as well, had a waffle machine and great coffee with the good creamers;)
Definitely a comfy hotel and the price was great as well !

Stopped late last night the to a nice clean room close to the Freeway. This morning we read the time wrong and just missed breakfast. Jennifer at the front desk was nice enough to let us in the the dinning room to grab some fruit and cereal. The lady who runs breakfast then brought us out eggs, bacon and sausage. It made for a great breakfast and overall good experience. These ladies went above and beyond to make us feel like their guests.

I was very surprised at how nice and clean this place was. I will definitely be back again. Great location, lovely city.

My son and I stayed here for the Comic Con early this month. I’m glad we did!
The staff were outstanding. I called the office because the blow dryer didn’t work. The maintenance man showed up within five minutes and replaced the unit for less than that. I forgot some very precious items of mine and the office staff bent over backwards for me to get them back.
We also found a hole in the wall Mexican spot that has burritos for less than seven dollars and it’s great tasting too. My son claims it’s the best California burrito hands down.
But back to the hotel, I definitely recommend this place and we will stay here again.

Great for groups! We had 13 rooms for a softball tournament. The staff was very accommodating. We had trouble finding a place to eat that would hold all of us, the supervisor Paul coordinated catering for us and let us use the breakfast room. Reasonable price and right off I5. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights visiting family who live close by. The hotel has been renovated from a Howard Johnson’s and is a HUGE improvement. Room was spotless: king bed with refrigerator microwave and sofabed. Breakfast was hot scrambled eggs and sausage with an array of breads, bagels, pastries, juice, fruit, yoghurt, waffles and cereal. You couldn’t complain about not having a good selection. Except for rude, slovenly guests (not the hotels fault!) the stay was perfect. We were greeted by a very nice young man on the Saturday afternoon. There always seemed to be someone sweeping or cleaning up during the day. My only complaint would be that there seems to be only «compact» parking on one side of the hotel, where our room happened to be. As I have a mini van, I had to park on the opposite side of the building from where my room was.
