I’ve come here a couple times after collecting bottles and cans that have accumulated oer time. It’s pretty convenient if you have just a few items (couple trash cans full). You have the option of a self serve machine or waiting for employee assistance to weigh your recycling and offer a receipt to take into the neighboring store for cash.
On this particular visit, I was waiting in line to get my cans and bottles weighed. But there was only one employee working that day. Not sure if that’s typical these days. The guy was working as quickly as he could. Unfortunately people were getting frustrated waiting. I saw one woman leave because of the time it was taking to be helped. I then jumped onto one of the self serve machines to insert my cans one at a time into the scanner and hope the items were read properly. I had some trouble with a couple cans and and bottles as they weren’t «recognized» even though the recycling arrows were right on the side.
After putting all of my goods into the machine, I had a few bottles that weren’t scanning properly. The employee was busy trying to clear the line of customers, but offered to help me after he was done with the customer he was helping.
I ended up finishing before two people who arrived in line ahead of me for employee assistance with weighing. That was a good thing. The bad was that it was hot out and having only one employee was difficult. I’m glad he was patient and willig to help those who wanted to weigh their recycling instead of using the self serve machines.
Be aware to use the bins provided for weighing and they may or may not be able to take glass when you arrive. Aluminum cans have the best return.

These guys are pretty nice, it was my first time here and they were helpful. I had lots of cans and glass and plastic and only thing is there’s no shaded area to stand & wait. They give you a receipt with everything detailed and accounted for prices and weight excetera So that’s nice. I think I will keep going here
