Waited 3 weeks just to get in with Doctor. Then he was in surgery that day so they cancelled my appointment. Didn’t get a call back for another 5 days. Then I finally got in after another week of waiting. Doctor spent 5 minutes with me. Told me I was fine and I went on my way. Sigh. I am seeking a second opinion from a smaller office. This was awful.

I changed from this group to another cardiologist in Encinitas because this is a HUGE group with too many doctors and not enough staff. Numerous times I was kept waiting over an hour without even a bit of explanation. Then the doctor would see me for all of 5 minutes and poof, I was shoo’d out the door. They never even returned my last few phone calls for an appointment, I just had to leave voice mails. I should not have to beg to see my doctor when I am having chest pains. When I finally went over to the other cardiologist, she requested my records from San Diego Cardiovascular and they took almost a month to send them to her! Horrible. I am happy to no longer be a patient of theirs.

Friendly and on time they really treated me well. Laurie, Dr Charlat’s RN nurse practitioner is very good. I certainly recommend this group.
