Alice made me look soooooo beautiful on my wedding day :-) She is absolutely talented, friendly, and hilarious! I can’t thank her enough for her services for myself, my mom, and two of my wedding party members. Her prices are so reasonable and she showed up 10 mins early at my hotel room. I showed her a pinterest pic of what I wanted my hair to look like and nailed it. I can’t praise this woman high enough, I want to have another life-​changing event just so she can make look pretty again :-)

My wedding was in Fallbrook at a golf course but we were getting ready at a near hotel. After looking non-​stop I found Secret Salon. Alice was absolutely amazing to work with, her quick response and amiable personality made it sooo easy and I knew she would be a great fit. She did my hair and makeup as well as the hair and make up of my 5 bridesmaids and 2 mothers.
She provided us with a schedule to make the day run smoothly and showed up promptly with her team ready to work.

Alice is not only an awesome makup artist/​hair dresser but she herself is an awesome person! She is sweet, funny, and endearing. I did the trial (which i highly recommend) and felt like I had know her for a while due to how comfortable she made me feel. I got SO many compliments throughout the night because even hours after dancing, everything still looked perfect. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to look anywhere else. There are so many people online it was overwhelming and just glad that I got lucky finding Alice.

Not only is Alice a professional beauty expert who has had her work published on various platforms, she is wonderfully amicable and a true pleasure to be around! My whole experience with Alice put me at ease knowing that the day of my wedding was going to go smoothly and I was going to look like a model!
I had a total of five women get their hair and makeup done on the day of my wedding. Alice and her assistant Jane showed up at 9 AM at our venue (she travels to you, brings everything she will need to get you done including chairs)…and we were NOT their first wedding THAT DAY! They then spent five meticulous hours beautifying my bridal party. Due to the very hot weather, I had changed my mind and decided to put my hair up rather than down as I had done for my trial, and Alice was able to translate my last minute vision and make me feel gorgeous. Her makeup is so lightweight you hardly know it is there, and yet it looked perfect for literally 12 hours. She curled and placed my hair perfectly (it is usually such a pain because it is quite thick yet fine) and it stayed in place through 12 hours of pictures, hugging, heat, wind and of course lots of dancing!
My bridal party and mother all looked divine. I had a very diverse wedding party all with different skin tones and hair types and everyone looked amazing. One of my friends is very dark skinned and she was so afraid that Alice wouldn’t have the correct color makeup so she brought her own… well Alice of course had every skin tone color imaginable and matched my friend perfectly. And did I mention that she was completely affordable and willing to work with budget? Yeah. This isn’t a dream… she is real life amazing.
We seriously could have posed for a magazine afterwards.

I booked Alice for hair and make up for my wedding back in ⁹⁄₂₀₁₄. My wedding party consisted of four bridesmaids, MOTB, MOTG, sister in law and myself. Alice was so easy to communicate with via email and she respond to all of my questions quickly! I had a trial run at her salon where her expertise was evident. She helped me chose extensions, we agreed on the hair style and make up. Unfortunately on the day of my wedding it was super hot and humid. We had originally agreed on my hair down but last minute Alice came up with a great up do. Alice arrived with only one other stylist. I was initially worried about the fact that only 2 people would have to tackle a party of 9 but they did it! They used airbrushed make up, added eye lash extensions to those who wanted them and the hairstyles were intricate. The hair and make up lasted over 12 hours!!! I would definitely recommend Alice and her team!

Alice and her team were wonderful on my August 1^st wedding! She was very early, which allowed for one extra hair and makeup and the very intricate bridesmaids hairstyles! AMAZING!!! Alice and her team are the absolute best! The owner (Alice) and her team at Secret Salon have bridal beauty down to perfection. Alice was very professional and easy to work with; flexible with scheduling your trial and will come to you the day of. I have never felt as beautiful as I did the day of my wedding. My husband’s one request was that I still looked like myself. I was skeptical about the airbrush make up and concerned it would be heavy or look like stage make up … I was beyond pleased and looked more natural than my everyday make-​up but had better coverage and lasted for hours. I had 9 bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in law and each girl felt beautiful and loved the way she looked. Secret Salon came with 4 stylists who were all talented and great with their styling ability.

I am a wedding coordinator and I worked with Alice last Saturday. She was extremely easy to work with, quick to respond to e-​mails and such a pleasant personality. The bridal party looked fantastic! I would highly recommend her services.

I absolutely loved working with Alice! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in May, as well as makeup and hair for my bridal party and mom. The hair styles she did for my little sisters were so adorable! They were getting compliments all day. We were all extremely happy with how we all looked. I had a look in mind, and she hit it spot on! Even 12 hours later, my hair and makeup still looked almost as fresh as it did when right after it was done – I was really impressed! Airbrush makeup is the way to go!

After doing a trial for my wedding with another place that didn’t turn out anything like what I wanted, I was panicking. I was doing a destination wedding and didn’t have time to go back out to San Diego and do another trial. I chose Secret Salon, based on it’s reviews and crossed my fingers. Luck was with me! Alice was amazing. She managed exactly what I requested and was insistent that I mention ANYTHING that I wanted adjusted. I wanted my hair down, beachy waves, and didn’t want it to look «styled». I wanted it flowy and didn’t want to look like I was using hair spray etc. Between the hair and makeup they provided, I can say that I felt as beautiful as ever on my wedding day! Alice was extremely pleasant, and did an equally amazing job on my Maid of Honor and one of my friends. She definitely helped my wedding day feel relaxed and not stressing! Thanks so much Alice!

I highly recommend Alice. She helped my sister’s bridal party (and my sister — the bride) with makeup and hair on a Saturday morning onsite at a Carlsbad hotel. She arrived timely and with a great attitude which really just added to the fun morning. We we’re all so happy with not only Alice’s work, but with Alice herself. She’s a delight and her work is quality grade. Just amazing.

I had the privilege of being in a wedding where Alice and Andrea came to do hair an makeup. They are INCREDIBLE. Every single person in the bridal party came out looking amazing. They were professional and kind and really made the morning delightful. I am sad I am from out of town because I wish I could hire these two for my own wedding. Andrea is a magician with makeup, she was able to transform us all for the camera without it looking unnatural. I have never before liked my makeup as much as I did that day! And Alice was a wiz with all the up-​dos giving each girl exactly what she had hoped for. I wish I could be friends with these two. They are incredibly talented and worth every penny!!!

Alice is a gem! She is AWESOME! Alice did my bridal party hair and make up as well as mine. She did a beautiful job with everything! One of my flower girls wasn’t a fan of having her hair done and some how sat perfectly still for Alice! Alice must be magical and have a way with fidgeting flower girls! She went above and beyond my expectations for my look for the day. She matched hair extensions perfectly to my hair, friends and family couldn’t even tell I had extensions in.

Alice and her team were professional, kind and great at taking direction. We hired them for a corporate event and they went above and beyond expectation with huge smiles on their faces. In a last minute panic, I needed major help! My wife was coming home from Afghanistan, and the date of arrival changed to a day earlier, EASTER!!! My whole surprise was about to be in ruins, the limo, photographer, dress, hotel, everything that would have made her happy before she saw me, if I had not had someone to assist in cleaning up her hair and makeup, after seven months being deployed. I will say, good luck trying find someone willing to work late on Easter Sunday!
Finally, after a few recommendations from friends, I came across Alice, and thank God! After listening to my plea for help, she calmed me down and said it would be her pleasure and honor to welcome her home. Alice, with her charm and wit, made her feel welcomed and kept her laughing the whole time. Texting back and forth with friends who were with her, they just kept telling my wife was smiling and happy the whole time.
I wish there was more that I could do to express my gratitude, for helping to make this one of the best days of our marriage! My wife was so happy with Alice’s work, she went back a few days later to actually get her hair cut, and lets just say not only is she pleased, but I am all smiles too!

A friend introduced me to Alice at Secret Salon. I made the drive up from San Diego to get highlights, and I’m so glad that I did!
First of all, Alice is lovely. She’s funny, disarming, and quite charming. Second, she’s very talented. After a quick consultation about my hair and my hair habits, we made a plan for color and cut. Then she went to work. I received her full attention and the time flew by. And then at the end I left with lovely blonde color and cut for only $ 125. What a deal! Definitely recommend.

Alice was a wonderful partner to work with for my wedding. She went above and beyond her call of duty, connecting me with a great videographer and carving out her own personal time to do a hair trial for me and my hectic schedule. She welcomed feedback at the trial and I felt she 100% listened to make me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I ended up with a beautiful half-​up do with billowing curls. For my mom, mother-​in-​law, and bridesmaids, she pulled together a very talented team to offer services in the comfort of our hotel room on our wedding day. Alice is more than a beautician, she’s an artist! Alice did my hair AND makeup (for a more than reasonable price) for the Marine Corps Ball. I didn’t want the average «updo» by the cookie cutter salon, I wanted a particular look. I found Alice on Unilocal and decided that although the amount of reviews were low, the experiences were highly rated. I wasn’t misled, Alice earned ever single one of her stars! Very professional but still created the «getting ready with my girlfriends» feeling. A perfectionist you appreciate, I felt like a movie star with all of the compliments I received! I’m going to Alice before any special event from now on!
