I love this beautiful store. If I had more money, I would like to spend it all here. The only downside is I get major anxiety when I bring my 2.5-year-old inside(only because everything is so beautiful)

It’s cool here. Beautifully organized, very big inside, and a place to my only shop but just hang out in peace, without bombarded by retail associates or noisy food traffic. The shop has jewelry, lots of books and CDs, aromatherapy oils and incense, beautiful scarves/clothes, and musical instruments, so it’s fun to browse at the high quality stuff they have in here. Prices are not cheap, but fair, and Rangel greatly depending on the item. Staff was super friendly and helpful, but they totally leave you alone to browse. There’s a very big round table in the center for visitors to read great books, like Bhagavad Gita, works by Yogananda etc. Bathroom facilities were clean. It’s located down K street from meditation center.

Love this gift shop! Really cool stuff. Friendly staff. Gotta love the incense, candles, oils and perfumes. Definitely will be back.

This is an awesome gift shop! I like to come in here to look around when I am at the Self Realization Garden. They have a music room where you can play their instruments(or buy them). Lots of jewelry, books, scarves, chimes, and so much more. Great store to find a unique gift for someone.

One of my all-time favorite shops. I was interested in the Indian Flute music, and although they didn’t have the CD in the store, they were very helpful in letting me know the details of the CD so I can buy it from Amazon. Also, this is the only place where I can get premium incense and meditation supplies. And they have the most beautiful Buddha Statue I’ve ever seen. I was told it’s a favorite of the store’s staff, but I can’t afford it at $ 1200. Beautiful store with a nice spiritual ambience.

I have to chime in and give this gift store 5 stars. What a cool shop! I wish that I had shopped here during the holidays. With an awesome location in the heart of Encinitas’ spiritual district, I could have got my zen going and bought gifts that my loved ones would really enjoy! They offer a full range of gifts, decorations and clothing and have something for everyone.

As per the negative reviewer, I don’t believe that one patronizes this spiritual store to buy something«groovy»(sp). I enjoy the books, the people who work there and the message that is portrayed. Please stop in to the gardens which are close by. They are peaceful and you may leave a small donation if you like.

I was surprised to read the negative review of this interesting and unusual gift shop. I’ve driven by it several times and only today went in with out of town guests of mine. We went to the free and beautiful gardens of the Self Realization just up the street and afterwards ventured into this beautiful shop. The gifts were very nice and well priced and I in fact I even bought a beautiful tunic, all cotton and very different and lovely. The 3 people working there could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and take my friend with me. The store and the gardens are a must stop for visitors and locals alike!

Lovely Bookstore. Lovely Gifts. Lovely setting. Very Unfriendly Staff. We really wanted to buy something groovy, but were so put off by the gloomy staff, our own self-realization was that we needn’t spend our money here. Yogananda Saves. .. . $
