I’ve been going to Yasmin Jacka for the past few years and love her. I have long, mopish, curly hair. Yasmin is always up to date on the different trends in the industry. She talks me through my cuts beforehand explaining what my hair will do. I had a reaction to color in the past and Yasmin found an ammonia-​free product that I’m so happy with and it covers the grays. She’s fun and awesome at her job. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I recently went to Erin for a keratin treatment and a cut. She was AMAZING! I will be making another appointment very soon. I took my step mom to her as well and she has completely different hair than I do. I have very thick and coarse hair and my step mom has thin fine, blonde hair. Erin is awesome, she really does it all! It was also reasonably priced and phenomenal! If you need ANYTHING done to your hair, GO TO THE PARLOUR AND REQUEST ERIN!

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review for Yasmin Jacka-she’s been doing my hair for going on 4 years now and is absolutely the best hairstylist I’ve ever had.
She listens to what I want and always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m happy with the results. I highly recommend her!
The Parlour is a beautiful salon conveniently located above El Calllejon Mexican restaurant. I can get the perfect haircut/​style and a margarita;)

If I could give Nicole at the parlour 10 stars, I would. I have been going to her about a year and she has gotten my fried blonde hair back in shape with the Brazilian! She’s super easy to work with and is the girl to go to if you are a blonde in need of some great color! I just recently got extensions and I could not thank her more for the amazing job she did! 100% she is the best!

I have been going to Dana for years and have moved around a lot (New York, London, LA, SF) and literally refuse to go anywhere else, traveling down specifically to see her! She does an excellent job with my cut and color, taking into account my lifestyle (laziest person ever when it comes to styling so she makes sure my cut is lowkey and don’t come often so makes sure I get cuts/​colors that grow out well). I get compliments on my hair both right after my appointment and a few months out.
The salon itself is adorable. A bright, and airy space right on the 101. Dangerously close to great boutiques.
Pretty sure if you try Dana out there’s no going back.

I’m obsessed with this place! I’ve been going to Nicole Severson for years now and she’s totally worth the drive!!! I’ve never had a bad experience with her, she’s so good at seeing the vision I want. My best friend is who got me to start going to Nicole because of how amazing her hair always looks and she’s blonde, which we all know how hard that can be! Bottom line, she’s an amazing stylist :)

Great location and atmosphere but more importantly I can get a great cut and style. Dana does a great job with my short pixie cut. She makes my hair super easy to style and I get lots of compliments. She is also very nice. I highly recomened her.

Kristin has been cutting my hair for over a year now and when she moved to The Parlour it was just natural for me to come with! The salon has a fun and relaxed atmosphere with a nice patio in the front. I recently got married and Kristin did my hair — it turned out amazing and she is so easy to work with and definitely made me calm and secure everything would turn out perfectly. I don’t like that «styled» feeling but every time Kristin does my hair I just feel like a better version of me!

I have been going to Kristin for two years now after stylist hopping for years. I wasn’t having good luck until I found her. She is great at what she does and she always has a smile on her face. I’ve had bangs for years and I have had some dreadful bang trims so as soon as she cut them perfectly on my first visit I knew I had found something good!

I seriously recommend The Parlour to everyone I know. Shannon is the best, she even did my hair for my wedding — I feel THAT confident about recommending her. I have semi-​curly/​frizzy hair that can be a little hard to manage. Shannon does a great job taming «the beast» … Easy access, excellent service, beautiful cuts, excellent hair color and special treatments (like the brazilian blowout) keep me coming back over and over again. As another reviewer said — I always leave feeling beautiful with sexy hair!

Firstly the parlour’s location in Encinitas is perfect, right off Encinitas blvd and the 101, right next to el callejon. The salon is really bright and clean and just has a good vibe. Kristin has been cutting my hair for the last few years now and I have to say she is by far the best hair stylist I have tried. Getting a hair cut used to be a dreaded experience before, leaving with a different cut every time. Now I’m in and out within 40mins with clean cut and feeling good.

I’ve been seeing Kristin for 2 years now, and she’s the best stylist I’ve ever had. For the first time in my life, I love my hair. I can show her a picture of a color I love, and she’s always able to replicate it perfectly. Plus, she’s really fun to talk to while I’m sitting in the chair. I’ve moved 40 minutes away now, but I still drive up to Encinitas to see her.

Shannon is amazing! I’ve been going here for a while now and I always leave feeling beautiful with sexy hair! I recommend The Parlour to anyone looking for a great haircut and/​or color. I’ve also had the Brazilian Blow Out treatment here & loved it — great price and it lasted for about 3 months on my curly hair.

This place is one of a kind. It certainly embraces the essence of a modern day «Parlour.» With custom crafted wood design and a location just of off the beach, it’s high-​end without being gaudy or ostentatious. With free WI-​FI and fresh margarita from the adjacent restaurant, you can pull up seat on the patio or snuggle into the couches inside.
Oh yeah, they do great cuts by the way. I was never much of a salon guy, but Shannon has since showed me the light.
