My favorite Haircut place has sadly closed it’s doors. I hope the people who paid to go to school there made out OK.

I come here all the time to get my high and tight. They do a great job especially considering the price. They take a bit longer; after all they are students. Can’t beat it though.

I go because it’s cheap. Their are 2 major faults with the place. The front desk lady looks so pissed off to be there at work. Not a welcoming feeling at all. And the second reason is that all of the barbers there are so gangsta! Everyone looks like a Mexican Gangsta or Lil’ Wayne. The attitude there is horrible. The cuts are decent. I suppose they are worth the 5 bucks.

I went there twice to color my hair. for the price I paid ($ 27 for mid-​length hair) it was ok. you should not expect any complicated task, just regular coloring.
but blow drying was awful. they charged me separately for it, but didn’t worth even $ 1.

Great price, good cut, bad language.
You can’t beat the $ 5 haircut price. I like the fact that it is assisting the students to learn, and the haircut came out well– I thin this is in part due to the fact of being students they really wanted to get it right. The thing that prevents me from going five stars is the language. Any school that is training people to work professionally should have standards that include no foul language. If this is in place here it is definitely not enforced as I heard constant foul language (including several «f» bombs) throughout the store as the students were talking to each other. This should not be tolerated for a professional training program. Still, I would go back as you can’t beat the price for the cut, I just hope they implement better language standards.

That being said, it is a SCHOOL… Don’t have higher expectations going in.
Operationally, the customer service is a bit lacking… not my experience, but from what I witnessed with customers coming through the door. The students seem uneager to do what they’re going to school for.
This is why you should see Rodney! Unlike most of the other students, he gladly wants to take any customer who comes in! He is super friendly and does really good work!

The best haircut a guy could ask for at a phenomenal price. The student was amazingly detailed for only two months of studying and the phenomenal instructor/​stylist was like the superhero of barbers! Thanks everyone for the amazing service and sweet hospitality. Will be coming back for sure!

I got my sidecut done by Dino. I wanted a star of David designed and he fucked it up a bit. His boss told him he did a good job none the less, probably in an effort to manipulate my own thoughts. I had to talk him through fixing the mistake by filling in the star… Oh well… I wanted to get my split ends done after that but the receptionist gave me a snarky attitude in regards to that the hair dressers were all busy and they wouldn’t be able to see me. The nice part is it only costed $ 5 for the side cut though.

This is the WORST place in the world. I went there twice, once for hair color touch, then for eyebrow wax/​light clean-​up. The Farsi language speaking student couldn’t understand the Spanish speaking instructor and I left the first time with the worst hair color touch-​up I’ve ever had. Thought I’d give it one more shot for the $ 3.00 eyebrow clean-​up. A HUGE mistake. The instructor literally stood over the student and supervised her work. They literally waxed off ¼ of my eyebrow and thinned out my beautiful thick brows, one brow is thinner than the other… I look weird. Before they told me the work was completed, the student ran off to hide in the owner’s office. The instructor initially apologized and told me she had some bad news about my eyebrows before she allowed me to look in the mirror. She offered to pay for an eyebrow tattoo… this was ridiculous. The other students were laughing as they came by to look at my face. Don’t even *think* of trying out this place, you’ll be sorry.
