Brain Balance of Encino

The Brain Center CEO claims through various speakers at different locations that vaccines don’t cause autism and other health related issues. they seem to have a conflict of interest. kids with challenges are a good source of income for them. there isn’t any medical doctor that will give you a letter with their signature saying vaccines are safe. looks like vaccine injured kids are a good source of busi​ness​.Gov. Brown signed mandatory vaccines for kids into law which goes into effect 7÷1÷16. I believe that the professionals in these centers have the children’s best interest in heart. The CEO and co. I really rate them as a zero in honesty.

This place will drain you finacially. First three months will cost you $ 6,500. They will tell you that the kid needs other «package of «three months after that. Almost $ 13,000 and there is no single psicologist or neurologist on site. I did not enroll because it is a scam and it takes advantage of the families.

I enrolled my son in the beginning of 4^th grade due to his Aspergers and behavioral problems at school. There were definitely results early on, but now we’re at the end of 6^th grade and he is like a completely different kid. It takes some time to see the ultimate results, but it is beyond worth it. I think back on our issues we used to have and can’t even believe where we are now. I highly recommend it.

We enrolled at brain balance several months ago. Our son was exhibiting signs of, what most would deem as, ADHD or inappropriate behavior. However, he was also excelling in the arts and building fully operational games on our computer at the age of 7 (now 8) and I refused to have him diagnosed and or medicated. I googled treatment for ADHD without medication and Brain Balance came up. We went for an evaluation and we were greeted by a very warm, friendly, and supportive staff. They were very thorough in their evaluation. We were provided with a complete breakdown of all of Aiden’s current skill sets. We were walked through the process and provided with a nutritionists who spent a large amount of time with us. The nutritionist went over the best foods to eat and when, as well as, what to avoid and why. We we’re provided with several sessions during the entire program. However, the most rewarding and important thing to acknowledge is that within 2 weeks, I had already began to see results. He was beginning to listen to what was being said to him. He could sit still during lessons, he began speaking to people instead of at people. He began writing these amazing creative stories that I didn’t even imagine he wanted to do. We are nearing the end of our 1^st session and we accomplished exactly what we were hoping for… The exact same kid we knew and loved, completely unaltered and not medicated. The only changes were positive changes that complimented his personality with more focus, better control over his own body, and better life skills to process and grow from.

Our daughter Stella was diagnosed at the end of Kindergarten with Dyslexia. She was struggling and frustrated with reading and writing. We started her with traditional therapy and it was a complete disaster. Her therapist was wonderful, it was SO frustrating for Stella. It was heartbreaking to see her cry and physically resist walking through the therapist’s door for her sessions. Plus — she was not improving in her academics. Then, a friend of mine mentioned Brain Balance. We had her evaluated and immediately enrolled her in the 3 month program. Unlike traditional therapy, Brain Balance was addressing the cause of Stella’s issues and not the symptoms! Brain Balance changed her world!!! She absolutely looked forward to her 3x per week sessions and came to love the staff at BB (that’s what we would call Brain Balance). It was like a switch went on for my daughter, and a whole new world was opened up for her. She couldn’t stop reading — it was remarkable! She begged us for a Kindle (like her big sister) and is blowing through books every couple of days!!! We will forever be so grateful to Brain Balance!!!
*Update* We currently enrolled our other daughter Sammi into the BB program. She was also diagnose with Dyslexia at the age of 7. My husband and I didn’t hesitate to start her therapy with our Brain Balance family. Stay tuned for her update…

Not happy, its a scam! Be careful parents I took my nephew there and the experience was very unpleasant.

Buyer Beware. These franchise centers are not staffed with people who are highly trained or knowledgable in this field of dealing with kids with Autism, Dyspraxia, and other sensory disorders. Their so called «testing» isn’t recognized by Schools or Dr’s. Save your money and get a real Neuro psyche evaluation by a qualified professional.

My name is Marina, and I have a beautiful 8 year old boy. He is nice, funny, gets along with peers and loves going to school. He does well academically, and has finally found his own way in making social connections that are appropriate for his age. He is now as normal as can get, happy, easy going child.
When we first started the program almost 2 years ago my son David was 6. While smart and sweet, he had countless problems that drove me to to tears every night. He had problems concentrating at school, difficulties making friends, he struggled with anxiety and had behavioral issues; He was attention seeking and very immature for his age, had countless sensory issues and problems transitioning. By the time first grade rolled in I was beginning to see a pattern of morose thoughts and depression. We changed three schools; It was very heartbreaking for the whole family to see him struggle so much, yet there was nothing we could do to help. By that time even my husband, the biggest sceptic of all, had to agree that, yes, there was a problem with our son. After long delibirations and a lot of web searching, we decided to give Brain Balance a try.
Within a first month and a half in a program we saw dramatic changes in his David’s behavior. During that time, his maturity level went up probably three good years. We could finally have a conversation with him, and he would understand — we could reason with him. He became aware. His academics improved, his social skills improved, and for the first time he was able to explain to us what is really going on with him. There was no more depression or depressive thoughts. He started to see other people’s point of view and was able to put himself in somebody else’s shoes, and for the most part became compliant and agreeable. He found a way for other children to like him by being funny, and for the first time in his life he had friends at school.
He will be going to third grade this September. His grades are great, he is very happy, loves being around people, and is finally expression interest in sports. He says he want to do soccer! His brain found a way to close the gaps and catch up in all the areas he was behind in. I hardly remember the days when I thought he would struggle for the rest of his life and will never be like other children. Our whole family has Brain Balance to thank for that. We highly recommend this program for anyone in similar situation. Brain Balance center in Encino has some amazing coaches and stuff that we will always remember fondly. They took personal interest in our son that went beyond just teacher/​coach/​student relation ship. I can alway call and ask questions even after program is long over, and they are always happy to help.
Once again, I highly recommend the program. I hope this helps to anyone who is considering to enroll :)

My son is currently attending this program and we have been blown away by the results. Prior to enrolling him in Brain Balance, he could not academically keep up with his peers, he was not pleasant to be around (had no friends because either he would isolate himself or he was just mean to his peers), and he was completely unruly at home, constantly defying adult authority. My husband and I could not control him. We had attempted many other methods to get through to him but nothing helped. Our pediatrician and neurologist recommended seeing a psychologist and others recommended he be seen by specialists before he begins kindergarten because he was unable to learn.
It took a little while before seeing a noticeable change. But now we are often told by friends and family that our son is a different boy. This just affirms what we are observing at home. No more defiance, no more tantrums, he loves to be taught and is learning by leaps and bounds. He is about to turn five and I am so glad that we started this program as early as we did! Brain Balance saved my son’s future! I understand by other reviews that this program may not work for everyone, but it did for us!!! We are thrilled that he will no longer suffer socially or academically, and I can’t tell you how happy our family is!

My son Sebastian is working the program as we speak, and the results have been amazing! We’ve seen improvements in his auditory processing, his articulation, core posture, balance and spacial awareness. I’ve done my research, and there is nothing out there like the Brain Balance program. They take a «whole brain» approach that integrates physical and cognitive exercises and works to correct the fundamental imbalance between the two hemispheres of the brain. The science of it is fascinating and the book «Disconnected Kids» is a must read for families struggling with processing issues.

We purchased two Groupons to test our twin daughters at Brain Balance and the woman confirming the appointments was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE we cancelled the testing altogether. There was no way I was going to send my daughters to a place where I want to improve their learning abilities when the person whom would possibly be testing them had such poor communication skills and unprofessionalism. Thankfully Groupon refunded me my money.

My son Zachary just started the program. Big changes in 4 weeks. I can’t wait to see the next several months.
