Visited at 1:00 on a Wednesday. Paid $ 2.69 a piece for two flame thrower wraps that were smaller than the snack wraps McDonald’s sells for a dollar. Then we waited 15 minutes for our order, as the cook did not have any chicken prepared, regardless of the fact that this was lunch hour. This is not acceptable for a facility that is marketed to truck drivers, as our clock is always ticking.

Dairy Queen, Hot Eats and Cool Treats on the side of the road with clean restrooms and a gloriously tacky and enormous souvenir shop. I really only went in to go to the bathroom but left with a milkshake and some fries. If you’re looking for a good spot to stop on I-40 this is the place to do it. It’s nice to get a shake, meander through the store(which has a freaking enormous selection of fireworks all year round) stretch your legs and make a pit stop. As a woman traveling alone I’m always on the lookout for safe places to stop and this fits the bill for me. I’ll make it my regular spot!

Really great dairy queen!!! Very clean. Very friendly service and my hot fudge sundae with pecans, bananas, marshmellow cream and whipped cream is just exactly like I like it… They have a big dining room with booths. Full menu.(Love their grilled hamburgers) Would definetly stop here again.

Well considering everybody showed up in groves due to accident, the manager was very polite, some idiot customer was rude to the thin blond young man behind counter, the boy just did his droor counting and let the 40+yr old big shot stare„ the behind cooks didn’t move very fast though, I like excitement when it’s busy, team work, blizzard was great„ manager has some work to do, overall B– I’ll be back

This place is pretty worn down, but the staff is really friendly. It’s nice because they have an attached store with a lot of handmade ‘Native American’ pottery, jewelry, etc.(I’m not sure if it’s authentic because some of the items say made from China, but I’m not sure if that’s just some or all.) But, the store is worth taking a look @ while you wait for your food. In the actual Dairy Queen part: The staff is willing to go out of their way for any crazy requests you have for your ice cream. I am always the one who has to try new and different things to my ice cream and I always ask for recommendations when I go to a new place to eat. The ice cream was good. It would have been better if it was a hot day and not a cold, windy day. Ha ha If you’re out this way and it’s hot, you can always count on this place to be friendly and clean.
