ok i have to admit i’m giving the 5 stars not only based on food but based on the cute little korean couple that owns this place! they’re a bit older but are the friendliest people ever! I do love the chili that they have here, regular is super cheap for the size and they put cheese in the middle to melt it for you! i’ve also tried the tuna melt which they make on the spot for you, pretty yummy too. And if you’re looking for salad, they let you make you own. :) great deals too for half sandwich and soup/salad, i think around $ 6/$ 7! :) but again, i really just like this place because of the owners. super super sweet people. there’s also an area to sit too so you don’t have to go back to your sad little work cube to eat. :)

Located inside the City National Bank building off of Ventura Blvd., this small cafeteria caters to the 9−5ers within a one block radius of the building. This usually isn’t the first choice for myself and my co-workers considering the array of restaurants in the area, but if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and need to sit at your desk for lunch, then this is the place. The lunch menu varies each day, and because they close at 5, dinner isn’t served. There is a salad bar and seating is always available. They don’t accept credit or debit, cash only, but if you work in the building, the owner allows you to keep a running balance on your tab. You can pay off your tab with a check. TIP: You would never be able to guess from the long dark hallway that one of the doors opens up into a small cafeteria, but don’t fret. Once inside you’ll be welcomed by two of the coolest Korean shop owners this side of Ventura Blvd.
