Having used Eric previously with good results thought it was a no brainer to use hime again. wrong…Like previous reviewer here he gave me a window of 1 – 5 when I called him @ 445pm he said he was still an hour away an hour goes by and I call him again only to be told he would not be able to make it till at least 830pm.
So we decided to reschedule and made an appointment for today @ 1pm. big mistake .no show no call have left him 2 messages with no reply.
If you have loads of free time to sit around and wait for someone who obviously takes no pride in his job or his commitment to his clients than by all means use him otherwise avoid him like the plague there are other more reliable companies out there

I can’t say enough good things about Eric. He was courteous, professional, and showed up during the window of time he gave me 12 – 5 showed up at 2 can’t beat that coming from Encino to Inglewood. The price he quoted me $ 89 was exactly what I was charged not a cent more. I truly believe that he’s an honest technician and never once was pressured or got a salesman vibe from him he’s the real deal, honesty is the best policy. He told me that down the line might have to replace the belt considering it was an old treadmill and the belt was kinda messed up but he said it was still useable and breathed new life into it. He did all the work in front of me and we talked classic rock and stuff the whole time (BTW he was working the whole time we chatted so not true that all he does is talk). I would recommend his services to family, friends, and anyone reading this. Apparently Christina Aguilera, Nancy Reagan, and I have one thing in common: we all had Eric fix our exercise equipment thanks again man. Oh and to that guy Truth Man considering the name you use you do not actually tell the truth stop giving business’ bad reviews for services you never receive from them. You must be getting paid to give 5 star reviews because I’ve read your reviews nothing but 1 and 5 star reviews. I give 5 stars when a business earns them.

Eric replaced the treadmill belt on my old Life Fitness treadmill and it’s like new. Eric really knows what he is doing and I appreciated his expertise. He explained everything to be and showed me all of the parts he replaced. Wonderful experience.

Eric was incredibly detailed, conscientious, and effective– our elliptical works like a charm, and he did such a great job. I highly, highly recommend ExeRepair– the best!

Eric with ExeRepair definitely knows his stuff! I spent hundreds of dollars on fixing my treadmill and it still didnt operate. Eric came out and within 30 mins had my treadmill operating as though it never stopped operating. In an industry with so many flakes, Eric stands out far above the rest! Hats Off to Eric who definitely knows his stuff.

Our elliptical was making some horrible noises. Considering it was only 3 years old, we were pretty bummed. We called a local guy named The Gym Dr., but he wouldn’t even look at it. He (ranting a little) said that the brand that we bought was horrible and couldn’t be fixed. I found EXE on Unilocal and after reading the reviews, called and spoke to Eric. He was very professional and courteous and really seemed to know what he was talking about. He came out within a couple of days (pretty far, too). He had to dismantle it and it took a couple of hours, but he did a great job and it is working beautifully. It still cost us a couple hundred dollars, but Eric put a lot of time and effort into it and drove a good distance. Considering we paid $ 1000 for it, we were pleased to get a few more years out of it. Eric was also very kind to give us more detailed information about care for the machine, what to expect from it over the next few years and what brands he recommends. Overall, great experience.

My beloved elliptical died on me last week. I was devastated. I contacted an exercise machine repair service and had some guy come out to my home. That guy was completely disappointing so I looked for, and found, ExeRepair. I spoke with Eric for the first time on Friday and he was at my home on Saturday. Based on our initial discussions and my experience with the first repair service (not ExeRepair) earlier that week, Eric made a preliminary diagnosis and secured my approval to order the required part to repair the machine.
Eric arrived at my home in the early part of the time window he gave me on Saturday morning and examined the machine. Unfortunately, the problem was different than we originally thought and we would not be using the part he ordered. Even though he warned me in advance (over the phone) there would be a re-​stocking fee if we did not use the part, he generously opted NOT to charge me the 25% re-​stocking fee.
He returned to my home the following Monday with the correct parts to repair my machine. He handled the entire repair like a pro and my machine is right back in working order! I could not be happier and I strongly recommend him.

This experience turned out to be a total disaster. Although others had rated Eric highly, our experience with him was totally the opposite. He made many promises he didn’t keep: 1) saying he’d be back to repair our treadmill after 1 week (it took him 6 weeks to return) 2) Making appointments that he didn’t keep and didn’t call to reschedule in a timely way 3) charging way more than his original estimate by 33% and 4) not standing behind his work as he promised (he said that if anything went wrong within 30 days he’d fix things for free.) When the treadmill broke on first use after repair, he has failed to respond to repeated calls asking for him to come back and make good on his promise. At this point, he took nearly $ 800 of our money and our treadmill still doesn’t work. We now have to consider legal action against him because he has not followed through on his guarantee. Sad situation indeed.

I called today to get an estimate to fix my treadmill. Eric picked up the phone and told me $ 69 but becuase i wanted a saturday it was an extra $ 40 and becuase it was 2 miles away from LA city limit itwould be a trip charged of $ 20! WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THIS! SO IF HE COULD NOT FIX IT THAT DAY IT WOULD BE PART$$$ PLUS ANOTHER $ 129
SO FOR 400 – 500 I WILL JUST BUY A NEW TREADMILL!!! THIS IS A JOKE OF A BUSINESS
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The owner and operator Eric arrived way past the waiting window. I waited close to home for 4 hours during the hours we committed to arriving within, only to get a call saying that he was going to arrive an hour past the window… but wound up being closer to 1.5 hours late. He is a super nice guy, but talked soooooo much that he wasn’t getting the job done in a timely manner, which I learned later that it worked to his advanged since he charges an hourly rate. If he wouldn’t just gotten straight to work and no constant small talk, he could’ve finished much sooner.
That brings me to another point, after all the time he spent on my machine, he wound up fixing nothing. I told him it was working better when he asked me to test it out after he had «fixed» it (which I regret now) because I was running late for my evening plans (since he arrived late and was taking forever) and didn’t want him to stick around any longer to continue fine tuning. It wasn’t until the very end of the session that he said he wouldn’t have very much success with my machine because of the particular model… I wish he would’ve told me that when he first walked in the door… rather than waste so much of my time and $.
The only reason I give him an extra star is because he really is a nice guy, but that’s about it! I definitely wouldn’t recommend him.

I called this company based on the other Unilocal reviews. Eric came out to repair my treadmill. He was professional and honest and gave me lots of helpful information about how to keep the treadmill running properly. I highly recommend this company.

This guy is a joke. He doesn’t return emails or phone calls. He makes appointments for 1−5pm and shows up at 8:30. He «fixes» a machine and when it doesn’t work right the next morning, he claims it is a different problem requiring a new service call. Plus he shows up looking like a spelunker from a horror film. Call someone else. Call anybody else.

I totally agree with the other reviews. I can highly recommend ExeRepair. Look no further, call Eric.
Eric just left my place after fixing my elliptical. It had some weird loud squeaking noises and I thought it was impossible to fix. But Eric did the job! He came over today (Saturday!) and in an hour he had my elliptical up and running like new. He also guarantees (for a month) that it stays that way. Thanks Eric!

I’m very pleased with my experience with Exe Repair.
It’s super hard to find places to repair exercise equipment and I’m so glad to find one that gets the job done, and not too expensively. I needed the deck of my treadmill replaced and already had the part (still under warranty). Eric worked with my schedule to get to my house on the earlier side, worked for a little more than an hour, and tried to help me figure out the best way to get the new belt that I also apparently need.
He was nice, efficient, helpful and the price was right. A $ 69 service charge, which includes an hour of labor, and, dammit living so far away in the Valley, a $ 25 out of area charge. Treadmill is working again for less than $ 100. I’m sure when I call again in a week or so to schedule the belt to be replaced, things will be lovely. I will recommend them to any friends who are in need.

I really needed to replace my treadmill’s belt. I ordered it myself and tried to follow the instructions only to leave the entire thing half unassebled in my spare room. It was a mess and I was not doing any exercise because of it. I did what most people do and checked on Craigslist for a treadmill repair company or person. Not having too many hopes I came across an ad from ExeRepair, mainly a guy named Eric. He had my zip code listed so I thought why not? I’d give him a call. A nice guy on the other side of the line picked up the phone and took down all of my information and scheduled and appointment the next day. My girlfriend felt a little uneasy. I must admit she had valid points. There is no real website and it’s from Craigslist.
When Eric showed up I realized that this was the same guy on the phone and it’s a one man operation around town. He saw my treadmill, said: «No problem, it will be around an hour or so»; and went to work. I was watching him the whole time. At first just to see if he was legitimate. Then to see what I did wrong in the self-​attempted repair. Finally we ended up talking about life for the entire time. Eric was incredibly professional, courteous and skilled. He fixed my treadmill with no issues and i’ve been running on it ever since. I highly recommend this guy. He charges a fair hourly rate and he did an excellent job.

Eric fixed my treadmill. Did a great job. He fixes other exercise equipment also. I would highly recommend him. Very honest and professional. The price is much better than calling a company. I wrote a review under treadmill but also thought I would put it here to help anyone looking for someone to repair other exercise equipment. The company is called ExeRepair. I noticed he wrote something for his company but I put it under a different name so people could easily find it. Here is to everyone’s health!
