Good food. Specially if you are health conscious this is the place to go to. The owner is very nice, hospitable, and friendly. Nice large room and out door area. great for special occasion and meetings.

We have been there many times and each time something was not good so we always debate to go there. One times we ordered meat we got sick next day. Another times we had fruit flies inside the place. Then we started going there sitting outside ordering pizza, it was fine because they had good pizza crust and salad also they bring house bread and oliveoil and it is nice. Today we ordered margarita and vegs. pizza, both of them were needed salt definitely. Ordered Mediterranean salad, all the dressing was in one side rest of the vegs were dry. At the middle we had to remind them to serve house bread and olive oil dipping. Sad part was bread was already baked and waiting there. I think very lazy people working there. They had good idea but bad bad execution. Only good things there pizza crust and pictures on their menu. Last time for us. By the way today they offered us to pay cash in returns of free gelato. It was the worst gelato ever, served on cracked glass bowl, raspberry sauce was not a raspberry at all. Bad bad bad, 2 star for good crust and house bread.

Surprisingly, a place on Ventura I really enjoyed! Most places on Ventura are cookie cutter low or no quality spots. There are some good ones, but not many. This is one of them that I liked. If you are stuck on having one type of cuisine, then this is not the place. But if you’re open minded, and can enjoy different flaovrs, you WILL like this place. Great pizza, great salads, very well adjusted menu for vegan or veg eaters, and things just taste fresh. Service can be hit or miss, but it is calm, knowledgeable and accommodating. I recommend this spot. Also a nice outdoor area that I liked. The care and the way this place is run makes it special… Not rushed, and the orders are given attention to before coming to the table. They might get busy, and thais may suffer due to short handedness at times.

Went in wanting flaffel, I am avegetarian, the waiter made some recommendations. I had grilled veggies, rice peel off and an amazing salad. My expectations were low, but everything tasted amazing, coupled with a nice atmosphere and good service. Pleasantly surprised

This is already one of my favorite places, but came tonight with a friend for an early dinner around 4PM. They have a whole new menu, with way more items on it. The owner is always so sweet. I had the Chilean sea bass, that came on a skillet sizzling with the yummiest veggies, plus all the other sides. I also had the gluten free chocolate cake, tasted like raspberry. He gave me a birthday pistachio gelato, since I had food poisoning the night before my birthday from another restaurant, and never got to celebrate. The food is always fresh, and nice big portions. I do not mind spending the money, when the food and service is excellent! It always is here. My friend ordered several dishes to go as well, as the sea bass and saffron chicken. Coffee is freshly brewed and perfect after dinner. Sitting outside is always nice too. I will continue to come here, as its one of the best paces in the valley!

I just ordered for pick up at the Green Olive because it was the first highly rated restaurant that shows up when you search«gluten free» in the area and I had a terrible experience. I specifically told them I was highly allergic to wheat and that I wanted the basmati rice to go with the salmon plate. I picked up the food and when I got home the rice looked funny so I called to make sure that the rice they gave me was gf and they assured me it was. I had a bite and immediately knew it was a wheat pilaf of some sort so I called again they didn’t even apologize and just told me I can come back and they would re-do my order. If this restaurant claims to be gluten free they should really take the food allergies seriously and check their food before it goes out. If you have celiac– don’t eat here!

Didn’t have the chance to try anything other than the pizza, and by the looks of it I’m glad! All the other food is a fast-food take on foods from different cultures. With a variety of options to choose from on the menu, didn’t seem like anything besides the pizza was worth trying. How can a place keep so many different items fresh and available at the same time? I ordered the spinach, perfect pear & prosciutto, and the dreamer’s mix pizza. All were amazing, yet a little too oily for my taste. Service was poor and we had to ask our waiter several times for the same things. Only three people seem to be working there both times I went, the manager included. If you’re looking for Persian, seafood, Mediterranean, or gluten free courses, I suggest you pick somewhere else. Come for pizza though! Worth a shot and overall I’d give the place a 3.5−4 rating.

High expectation was not close to being met, unfortunately. I liked the décor, and the owner seemed very nice. Food, nope. Service, nope. I appreciate the creativity, it has a bit of an identity crisis that I just don’t get, mixing Persian with Italian and Japanese. My order: ======== 1. Flatbread($ 0, 3.0 stars) — Free appetizer, a flatbread with a garlic olive oil. Oil was good, bread was fair with no flavor. 2. Eggplant delight($ 7.99, 3.0 stars) — thin roasted eggplant atop with fried onions, toasted garlic, and mint. Pretty, but boring. Sounds better than it is. 3. Hummus($ 6.99, 2.5 stars) — mushed garbanzos. No tahini. Again, boring. 4. Beef Koobideh($ 15.99, 2.0 stars) — Nice portion, 2 long koobideh well-cooked but under-seasoned and tasted burnt from the oven. The wheat pilaf(chosen over basmati rice) was dry and flavorless. The Greek salad(my choice) was nicely presented with tomato, onion, feta, peppers, and kalamata olives had a bitter and overtly strong dressing that I didn’t like. 5. Saffron Chicken($ 15.99, 3.5 stars) — I liked this better than the koobideh, but again way under-seasoned and a burnt taste. Nicely presented plate. 6. Spinach Pizza($ 13.99, 4.5 stars) — Best of the night. Unusual with a chardonnay white sauce, with a tiny bit of grilled chicken, mounds of ricotta, spinach, caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and truffle oil. Conclusion: ========= Service is minimal and showed a lack of personality by the primary server, and worse yet by the secondary. If the Persian food is not great, come here for the pizza? For me, I’d rather go the Italian route. Caters to a mostly non-Persian crowd, maybe that’s telling.

The best Persian Restaurant ever!!! We loved the food, service and price! Chicken kabob, Koobideh, barg and even the Pizza were excellent! I think this is the only Persian Restaurant that has the combo plate for Kabobs. OMG I would definitely go again and suggest that if you are in the area try it! Every food was delicious in this Restaurant, even their desert. People working there were very helpful.

If they had more stars to give, this restaurant will get all of them from me! I have been coming to this place almost since they opened, my family and I started going and we bring more people whenever we can. Not only the food is great, fresh, healthy but the service is awesome. The owner and his wife are the sweetest people. I had to cater a holiday party and I ordered from them… The comments were so good that I thought I should’ve brought more of their business cards instead of mine! People repeated plates as much as 3 times! They kept complementing the food and in general it made me look very good. I have nothing to say but to thank them to never disappoint. The prices are more than fair for the quality of food you get, it was definitely worth the drive, I could’ve not chosen a better place to treat my clients with! I really wish you guys the best and I hope you keep growing your business. Maria B.

Delicious food, appetizers, and great atmosphere! Excellent service, I went for a company party so I’m not sure what exactly was on the trays or the names of every appetizer but I’m sure it was all made up of more than half the menu! Everything was delicious! Definitely going again! & the tiramisu is a must try! I’m very picky as to where I order it but they did not disappoint!

Sat outside because we had a party of 8 and even though it was a little chilly it wasn’t bad because they have the heat lamps on. The food portion is huuuuuuuuge! We basically ate a little and took the rest home from the looks of it. We also started with a pizza with prosciutto and arugula and that was amazing! That’s pretty much my favorite pizza and what I’ll only eat. The servers were confusing because one would take our drink and when we would ask him for things, he was like um, let me get your server… and vice versa. But they were both nice and the food was great.

Get the Ginger Wasabi Beef– .phenomenal. It is marinated Sirloin meat that is so incredibly flavorful and tender. The juices from that meat leaked onto my plate and I scooped it up with my basmati rice… geez that was good. Get the Greek Salad choice that comes along side– so fresh and tasty with chopped yellow peppers, feta, olives, chunks of tomatoes in a tasty vinigrette. They also put roasted tomatoes on my plate… that too I dragged through the meat drippings and rice. This was an enormous plate of food I couldn’t finish but I did enjoy the rest of it a few hours later. This dish was about $ 15. You can get this same dish during the week for the lunch option for $ 9. The hummus too is excellent we ordered a side of that, it had nice chunks of tomatoes and olives in it with their table flat bread. We drove out here to go to Waffles and more but it had an hour wait so we ended up here and it was an excellent 2nd choice. :)

In the pursuit of new restaurants to review, we often don’t get the chance to return to previously rated places. However, since Okumura was closed. We were very happy to discover than Green Olive was located in the same parking lot! Flat Bread-So Delicious! It’s worth the drive alone! Ginger Wasabi Chicken Kebab-The chicken was so very tender! The flavors just popped in your mouth! Definite worth a 5-star rating! Greek Salad-Very fresh and delicious. Service-Excellent When you can’t stop thinking about how wonderful your food tasted during the long drive home. You definitely know the restaurant is a Genuine 5 star performer!

This is a great spot to take your better half to a special meal. They have healthy and tasty options such as lamb shank, chicken kabobs, lamb kabobs, to satisfy your hunger needs. They also have a variety of great pizza choices that come 12′ with six slices per meal. You can share or finish off this great option for yourself. The beverage choices are refreshing as well, with the choices of wine, or beer, or a delicious kale and spinach with a hint of mint choice. Service is great as the servers will make sure your needs are met. Parking is n their lot or along Ventura blvd.

I really like this place after passing by this restaurant after multiple trips to Jamba Juice which is located in the same plaza. I was starving after 2 classes at hot yoga that I decided to treat myself to dinner with my friend for a scrumptious meal of koobedeh. The service was excellent and they give you an enormous amount of food. The appetizer alone is the same portion of an entrée and the entrée is the same portion as a las vegas buffet. I saw a couple at the table next to us sharing an entrée platter. I really enjoyed my koobedeh which was cooked to tender perfection served with a nice size salad with cranberries and some pilaf with multigrain rice. This restaurant boasts its specialty on fresh, organic, and wholesome ingredients, so I feel slightly better stuffing myself with food after sweating out so much guk in my system. Will definitely be coming here again and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they give you.

Overall, 5 star experience. We made a reservation for 9 people on a Friday night, and we were well accommodated. Our table was ready, appetizers came out quickly, almost everyone loved their food, and the service was excellent. The dishes that I would recommend: prosciutto di Parma, mussels, and the salmon salad. The wasabi kebabs were also excellent, but a little on the salty side for me. The dishes that were good but not great: eggplant, lamb chops(overcooked). They also allowed us to split the bill without any hassle, and gratuity was not automatically added to the bill.

Easily five stars. Pleasant atmosphere, great service, great food which is fresh and healthy. We had a seared ahi tuna for appetizer, saffron chicken with grilled veggies, and fennel sausage pizza. All this tasted great with their pomegranate sangria, which they blend at the restaurant. Good fresh ingredients, full of flavor. There’s some bread that comes with the meal as well, coming with an olive oil dip, and it too was great. This is undoubtedly due to their wood-fired oven. Now let’s talk about pizza a little more. Pizza. Yes. This has to be the best pizza I’ve had anywhere remotely close to here. More traditional or inventive, doesn’t matter… it’s all good. The fennel sausage is made at the restaurant. Koobideh pizza’s on the menu too. They have beer and wine too. And did I mention the wood-fired oven? It works its magic here too. Excellent find. Although this was our first time here, it won’t be our last. I think this might be a new favorite in the area(I also love Vinh Loi Tofu Vietnamese Restaurant, Curry Leaf Sri Lankan Restaurant, Ramen Nippon, Birrieria Mexico, Totos NIgerian Restaurant, Lum-Ka-Naad Thai, and a few others).
