Terrible experience Unprofessional I called to set up an estimate for a kitchen remodel. Everything seemed fine. They confirmed and we were all set. Then the estimator didn’t show. They asked to reschedule, but insisted that both my husband and I be present, since«husbands are the ones who make the decisions.» My eyeballs almost rolled out of my head. I thought, okay, just breathe. We rescheduled for the following weekend. They called mid-week to ask us to reschedule. I said fine. Then they asked, «Will your husband be there?» I said, «No, but he doesn’t need to be here.» They responded, «We really prefer he be there.» Again, I had to breathe deeply. I explained that the only time he was available was during the rescheduled time. They said fine and we reconfirmed. This morning, they left a message to reconfirm for this morning’s appointment. I spent 30 minutes trying to call them back, sitting on hold, talking to two people(one was Jason) and finally being told that since I was late calling them back their estimator would be late. This time, I didn’t breathe, I just told them to forget it. It shouldn’t be such a hassle to set and appointment. There seemed to be an outdated, gender biased attitude! We’ve built 2 houses from the ground up, gutted and remodeled one house and acted as the general contractor on all projects. We have renovation and design experience and my entire family has investment homes all over. I’m the decision maker and accountant. My husband told Jason that he couldn’t be at the appt & that I would be the GC. Jason is the one who told my husband and me on speaker to «F-off»(over the phone). We have two other bids and I’ll do the project without these ignorant and low level profile fools.
