Not really big fan of their cup cakes, but I don’t like giving negative feedbacks. Good presentation.

Totally overpriced muffins and cupcakes of low to average quality. They keep cakes in the freezer for weeks and thaw them, than sell them as fresh in gift baskets etc. ridiculous. They charge horrendous fees for delivery and their drivers are late and rude. I’ve seen them snack on gift baskets in the parking lot before delivering them. Disgusting.

The cookies at Mrs Beasley’s are amazing. They have so many flavors to choose from. They will make you a beautiful gourmet basket for any occasion. I order thanksgiving themed baskets for my clients every year and the feedback is that they are eaten that same day and are delicious. It’s for sure a huge hot every year.

Had been years since I had purchased anything, since they were in the Brentwood Country Mart. What a disappointment. Everything was prepackaged or frozen but still at premium prices. Since they were pre-packaged, wanted to check the package expiration. No expiration on the package? Strange as i thought all food items are suppose to have that. I ate them when I got home. Cookies and brownies did not have much flavor. Would never come back. Better tasting desserts in the frozen food aisle of the grocery store.

Use to buy baskets of muffins from Ms. Beasley’s years ago. My employees and friends loved them! Stopped buying them because i moved out of the area. Since i was planning to visit a friend in the valley, I bought a groupon for $ 40 gift basket. Decided to pick it up vs having it delivered. $ 20 savings by doing this. 18 items came in the basket. Must say… I loved the baskets much better when the items were not individually wrapped like i remember. I loved the pistachio muffins but they didnt have any in the store :(Dee greeted my daughter and I with samples. She was very friendly and helpful. Landed up not only buying a gift basket but also a package of chocolate truffle cookies. Since they were pre-packaged, wanted to check the package expiration. No expiration on the package? Strange as i thought all food items are suppose to have that. I ate them when I got home. Cookie was not that fresh as it was dry when I ate it. Disappointing. I have to say, the best part about this place is customer service. Dee was friendly and helpful and had my preordered package ready for me when I arrived. Sad that this place didn’t live up to my standards which is freshly baked goods. I really wanted to start using them again for my gift needs.

I do not like these cupcakes. I feel bad, but they are just not up to snuff.

My experience is identical to Kelly’s. I had a Groupon to get 12 cupcakes for $ 18 so I bought a few different flavors for my family and myself. Now I love sweets and will typically eat anything from average to amazing. These cupcakes didn’t fall into that category. I went first thing in the morning to get them(before 9AM). They were not fresh and were FREEZING. I had a orange cupcake first. The frosting tasted like pure butter with a slight orange taste. The cake itself was okay, but tasted like it came from a mix. I then told myself to try the peanut butter one because maybe the first one just wasn’t to my liking. I had the same experience with this one. I feel bad because the cupcakes itself were really cute and the people working there were okay, but would I buy these again? No way.

Bad Michelle! as my friend Deana asked me to write more reviews, here you go Deana!. i might not be out in restaurants but i have been smoking the online purchase registry by getting things shipped. just ask my UPS man who has to haul it up my stairs. :) i stopped buying mid car problems and he goes. you are buying again! yeesh. reminds me of the friends episode where Visa called Rachel and asked her if she was okay. Since Christmas i’ve had cookie baskets and Mrs Graces orange cakes and lemon too! shipped from Mrs . dont worry, they arrive beautifully and on time! i seriously dont know how i existed ten years without having thier ghiradelli dipped Orange bundt cake in my life again. i used to WALKBLOCKS for this cake. and thier brownies bars and cookie baskets! so good! the perfect gift for anybodys anything! yum! i remember those from my LA office workers days. seriously if you are thinking about getting from Mrs Beasleys do so! and they have specials too, i was tickled i got my orange cake fix. Thanks Mrs Beasleys for putting out a consistently excellent products!

My review is focused around the cupcakes — so beyond that I am unaware of the quality. What I can confirm however is that Mrs Beasley’s is not even on the radar when it comes to cupcakes. I tried out the 12 mini cupcake pack(flavors of my choosing) for $ 18 and was sorely disappointed. The were stored in a very cold case — so right off the bat they are going to be dry, cold and crumbly. I can actually work around that by letting them come to room temp(although instant gratification is inherent to what cupcakes are all about). Every flavor was terrible. The icing was very artificial tasting, clearly more shortening than butter(if any) and all the cake flavors were dry. Not good. Now that I live in LA and can chose from some of the best cupcake shops around — I would never return to Mrs Beasleys.
