If you like horrible service and being treated like you are nobody this is the place for you. I’ve literally never had a worse experience with any kind of customer service then I had here. First the front desk woman Kim is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with (I’m not exaggerating because of my experience) she wouldn’t print out my transaction history because as she said «I don’t have time to help you with that» she ignored me and began helping other customers while I was standing there… when I told her I was in a hurry because I was late for a meeting she purposely took even longer to get my info) She is just all around aweful !!! Then there was the worthless rep… not only did he have no good advice all he cared about was how much money I could transfer to him, so unprofessional. this guy actually insulted me and told me I had no idea what I was doing and that my trades were stupid. I’m playing this down he was lazy rude and just all around a jerk. I’m not going to go on and on with all the details of how miserable the experience was, this is my first review, i don’t ever feel the need to write bad reviews but this was necessary to save someone else from this nightmare… after all look at the other reviews… there’s a reason they have 1 star… take your money anulywhere else but here trust me I’m saving you from a HUGE mistake!!!

Awful customer service! 4÷15÷15 5pm.
This was my first time going to the branch to look at information on investment options. It took the receptionist 15 minutes of giving me the run around just to get me a card to an investment consulting. She also spent several minutes trying to explain investments, as if I was not educated. She went as low as trying to explain that I needed money to invest. Really??? After finally getting the consultant card, she went on to tell me that I could not just come to the branch, I needed to call and get an appointment. Hmm really lady, I just need to know who I can speak with. Not sure if it was racist or just plain old horrible customer service. But this branch will not see my business!

I’ve had 2 account reps and both were terrible. The last one Ryan Pederson is rude, condescending, egotistical, etc. Today when I told him I didn’t like his advice and I was taking my $ out of his recommended Amerivest he started arguing with me. When I told him to stop arguing with me, he said, «I’m not arguing with you, I’m asking you why?» «Because I don’t like to pay people to lose money for me and I don’t like your advice,» I said. «You’ll have to call their 800 #,» he said. «What is it,?» I asked.
He blurted, «Don’t talk to me like that,» and hung up on me.
Mr. Pederson doesn’t seem to know who the client is. I’ve been investing for 37 years, probably more years than he has been alive. I see from the other reviews that the «new manager» in this offices terrible. Nevertheless, I’ll let him know how awful Mr. Pederson is, and get him off my account, but I think I’ll leave Encino altogether and maybe TDA where I’ve had money for over 20 years.
There are plenty of other firms which will treat me with respect, charge lower fees and will be thrilled to manager my money.

I agree with the other reviewer. Stay Away. I have been a customer of this branch for over 8 years. While the previous manager was exceptional, the new manager is in my opinion incompetent. He is NOT managing his staff properly. I will be removing my funds to either a different brokerage, or at the very least a different branch.

STAY AWAY. They never have checks ready on time. They steal float. The back office is incompetent and understaffed. They take over a week for cashiers check to clear
